It's rare that a person without previous experience could successfully "try out" things like glass fusing or welding, and while wine-and-painting parties and "glaze-your-own-ceramic" outfits aren't unheard of, there are relatively few places where one can choose among them in a comfortable, natural setting with low-key guidance and plenty of space. A fantastic place to wander, learn by observing, and... More

So much to do there! Metal work, painting, mosaic art. Friendly and helpfull staff. Alittle costly, but worth the great memories. We were there 4 hours making this piece. Thanks for a great time!!!

This place is amazing with all that is offered in the way of hands on art and you don't have to be a professional to make something unique and your very own.

Too big of space and very sterol. Good selection of gin, but not great given the name. Asked for a gin on the rocks and they poured me and charged me for a double without asking.

I took my daughters (ages 9 and 11) to the studio. They chose to make mirror mosaics. The cost for making the mosaics was very high - $70 each. I understand this is a small business and am not complaining about that cost. What I am complaining about is that I had to pay an additional amount for myself (I... More

We visited Hands On Art Studio on my bachelorette weekend. There were six girls and we really enjoyed ourselves. The grounds are beautiful and filled with art! Each building holds different studios (mosaics in one, fused glass in another, etc). We chose to create mosaics and were able to work do our work on the screened in porch, which made... More

Located in the country just outside of Fish Creek, Hands On Art Studio gives you what you need to try out canvas, glass and ceramics painting, metalwork, and fused glass work. Staff are helpful in making suggestions and teaching you new crafts. Best of all, you sit in an old barn or other smaller outbuildings with gentle breezes blowing through... More

My son had a blast making Spin Art and painting a ceramic mug. Both came out great and he had a very fun time.

Cute place lots to choose from: ceramic, mosaic, spin art, glass, etc! The staff were super friendly & worked well with the kids (2, 5, 7, & 9). Not a great place for a 2 year old but you could paint a canvas board for $16, & there was a play set & animals to keep him entertained. I felt... More
