This is a nice stop while visiting Peninsula State Park. You can view the outside grounds and lighthouse for free, but a fee is charged to tour the inside. We did the lighthouse tour a couple times in prior years and found it to be...More

We took our 14 and 12 year old daughters on a tour of the lighthouse and learned so much about one of the families that had lived in the lighthouse. One of the sons used to be a tour guide there and shared all of...More

Don't get me wrong the park is great. Lots of good hikes and not too many people. But this is quite a small lighthouse and you have to pay to see the inside and there's not much of a view from the outside over the...More

History, local culture, and a beautiful setting. We've considered many times when in the park, and finally took the time - completely worth it.

The lighthouse is very well maintained - no thanks to us, because we didn't take the time or spend the money for the tour. We very much enjoyed the views from the lighthouse and appreciated the architecture.

Guided tours are offered. Which gives you the history of the site and also takes you into the lighthouse.

We were biking through the park and this was a nice stop along the way. We didn't climb up the lighthouse but enjoyed the grounds as well as access to some restrooms.

Very easy to get to by car and, if you have mobility issues, the grounds are easily accessible and offer great views of this picturesque lighthouse. Staff offers tours periodically throughout the day.

Not an imposing lighthouse yet pretty and very easy to walk around. The kids will like it because it is more to their scale. Easy to do while traveling the park.

I would say probably about 2 hours. It is not very spacious, so i doubt 50 people can get in at the same time. I would definitely call the museum in advance and make arraignments. They may not be open out of the season... More
