Eagle tower no longer exists, it was taken down in September. There are signs that it might possibly be rebuilt, but nothing is happening with it right now

We used to climb this attraction, which is located in Peninsula State Park, with our kids some 30 years ago. The adventure and scenic views were worth the effort. Unfortunately due to wear and tear it is closed. I understand that the State is trying...More

iI have always wanted to overcome my fear of going all the way to the top for for that breathtaking 360 degree view but the park has closed it for safety reasons.

Climbing this tower is for the adventurous. But it's so old now that it is locked out for safety. Wood near the water can age quickly so it's in everyone's interest to close the tower. No date for reopening.

Eagle tower is next to a parking lot so it is easily accessible by car but we rented a tandem bicycle and rode to it. The tower has many steps so if you're not in good physical shape you may need to rest often while...More

We were there 7.15.2016 and the tower was back open. We climbed to the top and the view was amazing. Glad it was open as this is a main attraction in this small park.

We were here last year and can see a huge panoramic view to 10 miles away. It was damaged from a storm a while back, so there is a fund-raiser to rebuild the tower.
