We bike to the beach everyday we vacation in Door Co. Find a picnic table under a tree, bring or purchase lunch and relax with a great view of Eagle Harbor. You can rent bikes and kayaks. They even have a WI FI hot spot if you just have to be "connected". Nice beach for little ones. Very shallow and... More

We stopped at Nicolet Bay Beach on an unusually hot day in Door County. The beach is your typical beach...sand and cool water with lots of families lounging about. It's not as big as most beaches we are use to visiting, but there was plenty of room. The best perk was that they rent paddleboards, water bikes, etc.

My husband and I visited after a rainy morning so there weren't many people at the beach. The water was clear but cool. Lots of sandy beach to play/lay on. We rented a paddle boat for a half hour & enjoyed the view from off shore. Showers & flush toilets available. Snack shop available. Do need to pay the park... More

Nicolet Bay beach is a great beach! The sand is perfect for sunbathing or creating sand castles, and the water is wonderful. There's a designated swimming area that doesn't get too deep too quickly, so good for the little ones. There's also a watersports rental next to the beach with kayaks, canoes, paddle boats and other watercrafts to take into... More

I am reviewing this beach strictly for what it is - a beach on a lake. It wouldn't be fair to compare it to great oceanside and gulf shore beaches. Although not at the level of the awesome white sand beaches in Michigan or even Milwaukee, this beach has a lot to offer if you are just looking for a... More

We tried this beach couple of times July 2014 and 2016. Its always super busy with very limited beach area. They do have a good park area for picnic though. Maybe visiting it at a different time/month when people are less, might change our view.

I've posted pictures of this area. I loved it here, toes in the sand and yes the water was a bit chilly but my gosh I was in heaven. The beach is clean and the sand is soft and silky.

Beautiful beach and lovely sand. Water is shallow and the kids had a ball! Good sand castle building time, and great scenery.

Nice and clean. Lots of sand and good wading into the water. Water always seems to be cold to me, but the kids don't seem to mind.We enjoy watching the boats on the lake. Beautiful view over the water and the island. I'm sure this gets really busy over summer and on weekends, so we usually go during the week.
