We stopped in here on our tour. Since it was a week day well into September it wasn't very crowded. Enjoyed the view of Horseshoe Island.

Great swimming beach, often very crowded, as it was during our 4th of July week visit. Snack bar, showers, restrooms, small store all serving both beach and park campground. Nice picnic area.
