As the previous reviewer reported, the road is closed for construction. However, hiking is permitted ... just 1.3 miles to the point. As it was windy and raining, we did not attempt the hike, but from below, it looks like it would be an amazing view!

The view from this park was highly touted, so we made sure to visit but found the access road closed. It would have been nice if they had put a sign at the park entrance so we wouldn't have wasted our time.

This park is off the beaten path but so worth it as it gives great views of the lake and sunset with an overhang that makes your stomach drop a bit.
