Sunset spot

Perfect place to end a day. But, it was a little annoying that a trolley tour (which I usually don't mind) unloaded with a bunch of people drinking beer and being loud.

This County Park is off the beaten path (watch for the sign on I42 just south of Ellison Bay) but worth the side trip. The park is rustic, meaning there are a lot of trees, but the coup d'gras is the overlook. Take the steps down for one view, then continue on the trail and you will find yourself in... More

This out of the way natural area had a pretty viewpoint of Green Bay and the nearby islands. There is a walkway with stairs that takes you to the overlook. There are also trails through the property that we didn't have time to explore, but looked nice. No admission charge either.

Beautiful high view off of the bluff (hence the name). We came to see the wide variety of wild flowers in bloom in May. It is located about 2 miles off Wisconsin 42 just south of Ellison Bay. The entry road is gravel (so dusty) but well maintained. Outhouse style restrooms. No fee.

Hey, it's a bluff! And on a nice windy day, especially if it's hot, its a cool place to be for a bit. Its a little bit of a drive that's not particularly convenient to anywhere else, but it's certainly worth seeing once...

Not too busy, ample parking, great trails and views. A must see area when in Door County. Perfect stop for the family on a budget looking a pleasant getaway. Grab a bag lunch and grab a bench and take in the smells and views.

to get a "safe" view of the northern door county cliffs combined with a nice hiking trail (about 30 minutes) this park is highly recommended

A beautiful view of Lake Michigan can be had from the vantage point at this Bluff. It's a favorite spot to watch the sunset. There were about 25-30 people there last night, when we arrived to photograph the sunset.

We have been coming to door county for many years and this was the first time that we noticed a sign directing us to this beautiful place. If you see it you need to take the time to visit here. It is awesome!!
