If you're visiting Door county, stop along Rte 42 (at county road G) for fresh, local cherries in season. Also local cherry soda, cherry preserves, relish & salsa, honey, beer. If you are early in the day, fresh-baked cherry pies too.

Nice selection and fair prices. I would stop again for the maple Caramel corn and fruit for the road.

Owners grow sweet cherries in addition to the tradition Door County pie cherries. Very homey, friendly owners. Their strawberries are the best I've ever tasted.

we were here for a wedding, stayed at "The Shallows" just down the road, for some reason I can't find that on this site. Anyway, you should stay there. Back to this place, great farm market, good bargains, good pies, I got a cherry, it was splendid. All kinds of other stuff in the store so stop by and give... More

There appeared to be a decent selection of homemade goods, but it was much smaller than some other bigger markets in the area. We purchased a cherry pie, which was good. They had taste testing of salsa and a special frozen treat for the kids.

Door County is a cherry destination during July and August. I enjoy cherry pie and Schartner's has the best pie on the peninsula! Fabulous crust with incredibly flavorful filling. I have been visiting Door County for over 15 years and have eaten cherry pie from every pie baker in the area and Schartner's is hands down the best!

We have been going to the market for quite some time & they are always friendly & a ton of fun! They have the best pies in Door County. The strawberries are so sweet, but you better get there early because they sell out quickly.

My husband loved the pies and strawberries from Schatner's so much we stopped on our way home to take some home as souvenirs. Unfortunately they were out of strawberries our second trip. The best I've ever tasted. We tried the cherry raspberry and three berry pie. Outstanding flavor and value. Much much better than other pie shops we tried in... More

We were pointed to Schartner's several years ago when vacationing in Door County and was it ever a great find. THE best cherry pie ever. Every time we head to Door County our first call is to order the cherry pie. Try their maple caramel corn ....it is awesome also!!
