My husband and I enjoyed being the only tasters on a midweek Jan. Day and had Michael's full attention. We did the $8 tasting, five tastes plus the wine glass. The red wines were all very good, and noted some nice gift boxes. Will be back next year.

We have stopped at a few other wineries while in Door County, but this was by far our favorite. The atmosphere is warmer than the other wineries and you feel like you are in a wine cellar. It was crowded when we arrived and continued to get busier, but Michael did a wonderful job attending to us; we never had... More

We stopped by and did a little wine tasting and all the wine we tasted was wonderful! We ended up buying a bottle of Petite Syrah!

Been to Napa many times, has that feel without the TRAFFIC! Knowledgeable staff, and beautiful grounds (BOCCE) . Always love to sit outside and enjoy a glass of delicious wine. Try the chocolate and wine pairing!

Went here on our self guided winery tour of Door county and we were happy we didn't miss this place. It was the most expensive tasting winery we had selected as most wineries in Door County are fruit flavored wines. This winery uses California grapes they told us. We bought a bottle of their sparkling wine, it has an almond... More

My husband and I visit Door County at least a couple of times per year and Stones Throw Winery is a "must do" for us. The wines are more along the lines of something you would find in Napa but the tasting fee is much lower than the $25-30 fees you would pay in California. The staff is knowledgeable and... More

My wife and I visit Door County every year during the early fall. Each year we enjoy visiting winery’s on the peninsula. This year we visited the Stones Throw Winery located at 3382 Co Rd E in Baileys Harbor. We took part in a wine tasting for a minimal fee which included both white and red wines of your choice.... Wine tasting is $12 and you keep the glass. All the wines are from California. This winery does not enter any competitions; the other ones we visited were very proud of their medals. Very limited conversation about the wines.

We sampled 3 different wines and ended up purchasing a 4 pak of white wines, that we consumed in early September at home. We should have purchased more wine, since we thoroughly enjoyed them with meals at home.

Of all the wineries we visited in the Door County, this one probably had our favorites. They have a very cool tasting room. They also have a wine and tapas bar on site.
