This a good reproduction of a logging camp. The buildings represented the various aspects of the camp. It represented the harshness of the life of the lumberjack. It also told how the stories of Paul Bunyan came about. It was worth the time and fee.

We enjoyed seeing all of the Paul Bunyan exhibits, reminded me of a museum near where I grew up. The volunteers who worked there were friendly and offered us great information. I would definitely go again.

We needed a detour on our trip up to the Twin Cities so we saw this on line and stopped. Not a bad little museum - pretty educational on the history of logging in the area. A short video is also good. The outdoor displays...More

Located next to a nice city park, the Camp was pretty empty when we drove by on Saturday. Still, it's worth it to get a funny pic with Paul Bunyan.

The Paul Bunyan logging camp is a must see when visiting Eau Claire. It is full of the rich logging history of the city. It also has a great ice cream parlor with awesome milkshakes!

From the statues of Paul Bunyon and Babe outside, I did not know what to expect. But, it was a great introduction to the logging industry in Wisconsin. It is not very large, but has a lot of info packed into a small area. It...More

I have lived here 9 years and only went for the first time a couple of months ago. I was really impressed at the logging camp and how it is set up like a step back in time. I loved the kitchen/bunkhouse. It was fun...More

I learned that there were more sawmills in Eau Claire in the mid 1800s than in any other city on the world. This museum does a nice job of presenting the story of lumber camps, the work of logging trees, and displays a big collection...More
