The ride along Chippewa River is beautiful. There are some rough spots in the bike trail but most are easily avoided. We travelled from Waukesha to Eau Claire to ride the trail...glad we did!

The trail in/around Eau Claire is very nice as is the first seven miles of trail from Durand. The middle section of the trail, however, is in poor condition. Another reviewer titled their review "crushed asphalt" which is about the only way I can describe...More

I love this trail. I biked it every day. It and it's various branches lead you anywhere you wanna go whether you're going to catch fish or eat them downtown somewhere.

Beautiful trail and nice place to ride. We especially like it when the river is high because it is extra scary.

Today, we biked round trip between Phoenix Park in Eau Claire and Tarrant Park in Durand. The 100% asphalt trail is in good to very good shape. By very good I mean the asphalt is relatively smooth, disrupted by cracks. The trail near Eau Claire...More

There was alot of fun views on the trail and the people on the trail were nice and said hi as you walked by. However the lack of signs on the trail was confusing and the side trails had no maps so you had no...More

Just biked this trail today with plans of biking from Altoona to Caryville and back. This stretch of trail (once outside of Eau Claire) is in bad shape. There's a lot of weeds growing through the multiple cracks in the asphalt and actually a few...More

Peaceful trail by the river. Lots of access points downtown. Signage could be improved. Wish I had my bicycle with me because the trail is wide and nicely paved.
