Our family enjoyed a long weekend getaway with 2 other families camping at Bach's Wildwood Outdoor Adventures Campground. We took full advantage of the outdoor adventures offered here. Our first full day, the Bach family set our large group (including children ages 12-18) up with kayaks, SUPs, & a huge floating mat (with an anchor) that were all enjoyed on the chain of lakes. Our second full day, we took advantage of the group tubing experience down river (3 hours) & our hosts took care of all the details. It was relaxing & fun. The Bach family thrives on providing a great experience for everyone. I couldn't recommend this business more for adventures on the water in Eagle River.

We were very happy with our rental and experience at Wildwood Outdoor Adventures. We rented 4 stand-up paddle boards for 3 days and paid for delivery and pick-up, which was definitely worth the fee. The delivery arrived on time and the boards were a huge hit, even with the kids who picked it up surprisingly fast. We took several trips around the like and would often paddle in one direction, then sit and relax and have the wind gradually push us back towards the dock. In fact, we liked them so much that we called to extend the rental by another half day, which they accommodated. Having access to equipment rentals like this is part of what brings us back to Eagle River.

We had a great time tubing that we did it twice in one week. We had a bunch of teenage girls who really loved Aiden, the driver of our bus. He was so much fun...entertaining the girls with music they liked and he was gracious enough to take pictures with them after our ride down the river. The tubes were able to easily connect to one another and the checkpoints were a plus to make sure we were all okay. A wonderful experience for our "itch girls".

My daughter needed a lot of driving hours and I have been eyeing a specific SUP (Liv2Fish) that is not found in many places in the Midwest. After some research I chose to drive up to Eagle River due to a couple conversations on the phone and great customer reviews. I am so glad we chose to buy from Jason at Wildwood Outdoor Adventures. They were good people with kindred spirits. We arrived late and Jason stayed after hours to get me all set up for the long trip home. My only regret is that the weather was really crappy and we were not able to spend more time. I felt like I made a close friend in the hour we were there!
I have been enjoying my boat for over a year now and wish I lived closer to so I. Oils stop on and visit.

This was our second trip to Wildwood campground. We camped here last year at about the same time (mid-September) The experience last year was good, this year was much better. Everyone here, staff, owners, and guests were very friendly. The improvements made to the park were very good (and on-going). We use a trailer so getting in and out of the campsite is important to us, these sites all appear to be easily accessible. We will definitely be returning.

I tent camped here Oct. 2021. Many other campgrounds had closed for the season but Wildwood was still open, much appreciated. My review would have been 5 stars but for the fact that the campground is still being finished so it was still a bit rough. Amenities like the showers and bathroom were first-rate. The owners are friendly and accommodating. I only camped, I can imagine that their river trips are awesome.

The site we chose based on the description and the picture was not the right size for our 30' camper. Trees prevented us from extending our awning. Moving the camper to another location on the site wasn't an option due to the location of the electric, water and sewer hook-ups. Most campers were very respectful of quiet time. Although the campgrounds indicated that there was free wifi, the signal was poor and unavailable.

Very friendly, doesn’t even describe it. They really made you feel like you were on vacation. I work hard, and it was so nice to actually get good service in return. Everything clean. Told us good paths to go for kayaking. I will be back for sure.

We visited Wildwood Outdoor Adventures and rode the Wisconsin River on tubes. It was such an awesome experience! Top notch from the staff at the check in desk, to the Ice cream attendant, the shuttle driver, the cleanliness of the bathrooms! We were impressed and happy with our whole experience. THANK YOU for the fun day.

Very Nice campground with terrific views of the river/chain of lakes. Clean and well cared for; nice people/super staff. Equipment is new and in great condition - lots to do in the campground and the area. Highly recommend staying here.

Is the tubing price include more than one trip down the river? We were told the float is only about an hour long and that doesn't seem worth the rental price to be honest.
Written June 26, 2018
We have a per trip price per person or a full day price per person. You choose the option that works best for you and your group. Your trip is on a natural river way so your length of time varies depending on the water level and time of year you come. We have had some groups that like to go a 2nd round, but not the full day. If think you may want to do that let us know and we will quote you 1 rate for your whole group to go one more round. Any other questions please give us a call at 715-477-3333. We are happy to help!

We are coming up there next week----I am a 65 year old healthy female who has never tubed a river--since my husband won't to with me---is this a safe thing to do alone or would they hook you up with others?
Written June 7, 2018
Hi Sharon ~ tubing is down a mellow, relaxing part of the river so you will be fine doing it solo. If your husband would like he is welcome to kayak or canoe the same section with you as you float. We are flexible so what ever you would like to do we will do our best to accommodate. Thanks for inquiring!
