In the middle of nowhere (like most wineries), I wasn't expecting much when we stopped in. What a surprise to find this big round room, perfect for showers or other gatherings on the premises. The tasting room is pleasant, and the wines are nice. It's worth a stop!

We recently stopped here on our way to Whitewater for a tour and wine tasting. We were greeted warmly and given menus to select our wines and "picnic" basket for cheese, sausage & crackers/bread. Unfortunately, you were limited to one cheese and one sausage selection. Fortunately, they gave you a to-go box because two people do not want to eat... More

We tasted the wine flight and we liked 1 a lot, 1 was ok and the last 2 were not impressive. It would have been nice to try other wines but we were a bit short on time. I'm sure we would have found 1 or 2 others we enjoyed. The gift shop is small but good. The service was... More

I always stop at this winery when I am in the area. During the summer, they have a nice outdoor area that you can sit at that is by the grapevines and they offer cheese/meat plates as well as picnic platters. However, they have a nice bar and indoor seating area for the times its not as nice outside. You... More

I was on a "girls weekend" and we decided to make this one of our stops. We were SO impressed! The wine was delicious and the experience was fun! We did enjoyed the wine and chocolate flight and had such a joy drinking and nibbling our way through. We will be back!

Now that our children are adults, we though it would be fun to visit a winery. We found Staller Winery by doing a web search for local wineries while staying at Lake Lawn Resort. The winery is set in the middle of fields and is a pretty drive from town. Wendy gave us a very nice tour, showing how their... More

This is a wonderful local winery. We have gone there for wine tasting. Also our book club met there once a year as one of our members didn't have s residence conducive to hostessing a dozen people. The wines are named after local sites which is also fun. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. Check out the website for... More

It's a bit of a drive, but a nice one out in the countryside. The winery is a small but expanding operation. If you go, definitely take the tour. Our tour guide was Wendy Staller, the owner, who knew her stuff and was able to give us a more informative tour of the grape growing and winemaking process that we've... More

Thank you for taking the time to enjoy the Wisconsin countryside. Wendy is always very pleased to share her passion for winter hardy wine growing. She studied at UC-Davis and has brought her winemaking experience to Wisconsin to share with our guests. My bf has a goal to to go every winery, brewery and distillery in the state of Wisconsin. We enjoyed our tasting and our view by the field and the staff was friendly. My bf fell in love with the Release 5, (a dry red, Firmly textured with aromas of fresh berry and oak). He said it was the best... More

Thank you very much for sharing your appreciation of Release 5 with us. We are very proud of this wine as it has won many International Wine Awards through the years. It is a blend of two Wisconsin grapes; Marechal Foch and Frontenac, both winter hardy grape varietals. These two grape marry well together to yield an excellent balance of... More
