We enjoying coming here for hikes and enjoying the pretty scenery. The place is well maintained and last year they repaved the trails. The tower lookout offers a beautiful view of the Kettle Moraine Forest and local landscape.

The park is very nice and has a lot of hiking trails. The climb up the observation tower offers a very scenic view of the area. The kids enjoyed the butterfly garden.

Can't wait to go back and explore more of the gorgeous hiking trails! We didn't have a lot of time, unfortunately, to see as much of this beautiful park as we wanted to, but I will definitely be going back soon with a trail map so I can see it all. We went midday and it was the perfect time to go. We passed a few joggers and hikers and people with dogs on leashes, but there weren't a ton of people there, so it felt like we almost had the woods to ourselves. My friend had her own dog with her and it was great to see how much she enjoyed the trails. When we left about 1.5 hours later, there was a long line of cars waiting to get in! There are dirt trails and paved trails, so you can choose which to go on depending on your footwear (we came after a morning rain shower, so boots might have been nice on the dirt trails). We came across prairie land and a butterfly garden in the middle of the woods, quite a nice surprise. We saw a woodchuck that lived underneath the deck on the hilltop and he was ok with people coming within about 25 feet of him, allowing us to get a good look at him before he scurried under the deck. We saw three deer in the brush, and one of them came within about 4 feet of my passenger side window of the car as she munched away on the foliage. We walked a bit of the Ice Age trail and saw the signs for cross-country skiing along pathways. I'd love to come back in winter and see how gorgeous this place is then!

Great park, with different trails that clearly show its level of. For all ages as it has natural trails and paved trails.

A great option for the entire family!

Tip: There seems to be more than one parking area, if you see a small area with cars parked along the road, you are not in the main entrance.

FYI This is a pet-friendly park.

This was a nice little hike to the overlook tower. This was a fantastic place to see the fall colors. You can look north, south, east and west and see so many scenic landmarks.

Once a year the local schools and clubs put on a "Fright Night" walk in Latham Peak. This year's experience was well worth the trip. The "fright" experiences and work that these schools and groups did was outstanding!

Great day hiking spot with trails for every level of hiker, paved and not. Also, good cross country ski trails. Well marked trails with maps available. Lookout tower with wide views of SE Wisconsin. Handy to great little town of Delafield for snacks and dining. Ask for senior discount details at gate.

We walked into the park from the village of Delafield along Cushing Park Road and enjoyed prairie flowers as far as the eye could see. The birds were having a wonderful afternoon and so did we as we hiked hills and ended up in a forest near the natural spring. This section of the park is more of a prairie walk compared to the wooded walk of the main unit. It doesn't have a large parking lot, but quite a few cars parked along the side of the road. This section of the park has bike and horseback riding trails. Trails are well maintained and the views excellent.

The wide trails in this park offer lots of opportunities for outdoor activity. Great family hiking with a observation tower for climbing, mountain bike trails, and groomed and lighted cross country skiing trails in the winter. Beautiful gem of a park!

Great, well kept paths around the park! We travel here multiple times in the spring-summer months. Many different hiking routes you can take. Part of the ice age trail.
