This was our second wine tasting of the day and I wish we came here first. For the tasting you got generous portions of great real wine. Not some white wine that someone poured fruit juice in. The owner and staff where were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to offer suggestions that fit the mood perfectly. Definitely plan on going back before we leave.

This place is a gem! My wife and I have been here twice in the last 4-5 weeks.
The quality of the wine and the overall experience is top shelf and vibrant. Both times, we did wine tastings and walked out with bottles.
The owner and staff are very knowledgeable. They asked what kinds of wines and attributes we like, then they made suggestions for samples. Most wineries we experience have pre-selected flights. Not here, they fine tune to our tastes as we sample.
The pours are also generous in size - no 1oz pours in a plastic cup here. If you like getting an education of your samples, you'll get it here. They also seem to make small batches of wine, so you'll experience something different every time.
Reading through all of the reviews, it's a shame they couldn't reset the average rating when the new owner took over 3ish years ago. There are a lot of not-so-flattering reviews pre-2018 that's kept the average down. I'd give this place 6 stars or more if I could.

What a great way to wake up and start my day then to see this wonderful review. I cannot tell you how myself and my team are so happy and pleased that you enjoyed your stays with us, and look forward to seeing you soon again. My husband and I stopped in for a tasting and each left with a bottle! We weren't sure what to expect with this location, but the wines were better than we could have guessed! The owner is very hands on. The owner and employees are all super nice. The only negative was just a lot of shop talk between the owner and employees regarding scheduling. Things that could have been discussed quieter or at least not in front of people sampling.
We would definitely go back and try more!

We watched Allan while he worked the wine fest. What an amazing man. His wine is top shelf. The Cava was our favorite.

Had a wonderful tasting yesterday on my solo trip to Cedarburg! The gal working there, I am sorry I forgot her name was very personable and knowledgeable of the wines. Love the Sexy wines and celebrated the owner’s birthday with a glass of champagne! How lovely is that?! I will be back!

The owner is fabulous.....knowledgeable and very cute... I absolutely loved every moment we spent in his care. Very professional if you're into that, but joking and laughing is our cup of tea and the owner delivers the best atmosphere you could ever want. The patio pounder is excellent and if you pound it......the fun has just begun... I would recommend this spot to all. Fantastic selection owner and staff will match your pallet with the best wines you can ever imagine....

I'm embarrassed to say I avoided Chiselled Grape because I thought it was the typical local winery with overly sweet wine. I was wrong. Not only can you get great wine produced by the owner's California grapes, called Sexy, but great wines from around the world. You can order a bottle, a glass or a tasting, and just keep going from there. The owner and the staff are fun and knowledgeable.

I am not a sweet wine fan and this Chiselled grape offers a wonderful selection of the hosts own vineyard and other wines from around the world that he has selected. Generous pours with the tasting. Great porch to relax and savor the wine on. We will be back!
