It started with an abandoned mill, now 43 years ago. It’s the best starting point when visiting Cedarburg. Shops, winery, cafe offer plenty of wonderful things to explore. Take time to watch around the settlement and appreciate this wonderful structure.

Love visiting Cedarburg and the Cedar Creek Winery several times a year. Always a fun experience and always good drink and fare in the community. One of Wisconsin's truly unique communities.

We were excited to see the "settlement". I supposed seeing many hand made crafts being made, to experience the era? It wasn't that. Just a few historic buildings opened to bring in merchants selling usual crafts. There was a winery, a distillery, a real pottery,...More

Some are, and some shops are upstairs. My mom uses a walker, and that was fine. The building are very old. Some 150 years. But, they have shops along the roads you can go to.
