Whitewater Kayak Adventure over 80 rapids (Advanced)

As many as 80 sets of rapids, all class I, II & III difficulty levels. Very few areas in the United States offer such a unique experience as this 3-5 hour adventure. Be aware that this kayak/canoe trip is not for everyone and we recommend the apprehensive groups to start with our B1 intermediate trip first. If you have some experience and want a challenge, this is a wonderful stretch to get your feet wet. Whether you choose a kayak or canoe, the crisp flow of the river starts as soon as your paddle blade hits the water.

Family friendly kayak adventure (intermediate)

Stretching for 4 miles from Winneboujou to the town of Brule, our B1 float is very popular for all ages and all group sizes. This 4 mile float on the river is listed as an intermediate skill level, but a nice float if you and you’re group won’t mind the faster current. Your paddle starts at Winneboujou with a brisk current flow to send you on your way. Hall rapids, Swiftwater Farms rapids, Little Joe and Doodle Bug are among the many rapids that you encounter. Giving you a taste of everything on this short 1-3 hour, you will pass by towering Red and White Pines, pass under a picturesque walk bridge, go down the s-curve stone wall rapids of Halls Rapids and pass by the Bois Brule State Campground. Bring along a snack and picnic and enjoy the many swimming holes along the way. This trip is a great way to enjoy the Brule in a short amount of time, or just an easy afternoon float. The float ends at the town of Brule.

We took the 4 hour trip. Was beautiful, but the time of year that we went, the water current didn't help us along. It was 4 hours of constant paddling. Enjoyed the trip though!!

Thanks for the review! For some the A1 Trip is a bit too much flat water, fortunately the rest of the river is faster and has a more drastic elevation change.

My husband and I were in the area for a week and decided to paddle a canoe from Stone's Bridge to Winneboujou on my birthday. We had reserved ahead of time, but they were a little short on staff (or so they said - I think they may have just overbooked, but who knows). We were

We are too so appreciative of the Bois Brule in Wisconsin and so close to our friends in Minnesota as well. Our staff is dedicated to showing up on time and apologize for the hiccup. Cheers and enjoy the rest of the summer!

We rented a canoe to do the Stone's Bridge to Winneboujou paddle this past weekend. It was wonderful. The staff were helpful and the shuttling ran very machine-like. I should note that there were a few inexperienced canoers that started out when we did and they did not fare well

Thanks for the nice review, and yes I agree with you on the inexperienced canoers that come and experience the river. We like to recommend a tandem kayak or single kayak for new paddlers, for it seems to help the inexperienced get accustomed to paddling.

The staff at BRCR are really knowledgeable about the river and keep their equipment in good shape. They're a little more expensive, but the service and safety are so worth it. We're repeat customers and will definitely come again
