Blue mounds state park is one of my favorites of the state parks. It has lovely trails to hike on, towers to view southern Wisconsin's stunning landscape.

Camped, in a tent, 4 nights, beautiful park, enough space between campsites for privacy, friendly staff!! Really enjoyed the views, it rained, but we found plenty to do in Mount Horeb or Madison!

Another beautiful Wisconsin park. Loved the views but the trails could have been better marked. Lots of stairs on some of the trails and they aren't even, so be careful if you have leg problems of any sort.

In order to try to beat the heat, we arrived at 7:30 to hike. The park attendant was very polite and pointed us towards the pool area to park and start hiking. We seemed to have the trails to ourselves. The main trails are wide,...More

Didn't have a ton of time to spend there but really enjoyed the view from the towers. Definitely can see for miles. Would love to go back during fall colors.
