i already knew but i think it was more than 10years i used to go skiing in other mountains...so coming back it has been a confirmation they are (like others in the region) probably the best facilities in the European scenario

Very nice resort, nice and quite, perfect for skiing with child. Ski lifts are fast and operators are super nice to kids. Slopes are well prepared. This was the best ski trip this season ( 2017-2017). Been there first time, but definitely not last time.

Like all the "Gondolas" in and on Kronplatz. They are all fast efficient Sometimes the nearby attendants could be a little more pro-active in helping people on and filling up cabins but overall good.

San Vigilio gondolas are more than effitient fo fufill needs of all skiers visiting this area. Transport is modern, confortable, providing even WI Fi as great addition. Some working night hours providing night skiing is definitely attraction. We are enjoying this ski transport for several years and other ski centers can not compete with it.

Of all the ski areas we know in France, Italy, Austria and Canada, this area has the fewest slow lifts. Nearly all are 4 seater fast chair lifts, gondolas or eggs and there are very few drag lifts. The pistes are extremely well kept despite the lack of natural snow. The crews on the lifts are pleasant. The runs are mainly blue and red - we did not try out the black one over the back of Piculin after being told by our sons that it was pretty bald and stoney...

In San Vigilio di Marebbe are not many pistes. However, the few pistes are lovely! You Can choose an exciting black one bamed the picculin. At the end of the slope you Can Rutger take black the fast ski lift or take the Fred bus to Badia. From thee you ski to Ka Villa and Corvara where the Sella Tour starts. The Erta, also black brings you black to SV where connecting lifts bring you to Kronplatz. Parallel the Erta is a Nice red piste ending in blu.
Besides the modern transport, well prepared pistes, you find excellant restaurants all over the place. Life is great: skiing, blue sky, snow and the best cappuccino :-) For lunch you Can choose Wieber schnitzel, pizza, pasta ( home made) polenta, soup. You name it; even sometimes gluten free pasta!

It is hard to ay anything when we are talking about skiing resort Kronplatz. I could say only one thing. My first visit was in 1978. in the age of six. Today is 2015. and I did not miss a single year skiing on the slopes of Kronplatz.
San Vigilio part of Kronplatz is little bit aside from the top but has a best slope for the first steps on your skis. Very little resorts in the World have such nice and easy long going easy slope for beginners.
