Make sure to head up on a dry day and/or not after recent rain fall as the rocks can become very slippery. As mentioned in other posts, do not bring dogs up or down this trail as it is narrow in places along the way....More

We went to balanced rock and devils doorway. It was an intense hike both up and down the trails but it was definitely worth it when you see the views from up top and the rock formations. Take some water, wear good hiking shoes and...More

You probably want to be going up on this trail rather than coming down. The trail is pretty exposed. You will be walking on large and small rocks. Do not bring pets.

Although this hike was mostly like an hour of stairmaster, it was beautiful! Very well maintained trail. It was pretty crowded but plenty of room for all. The trail isn't really good for small children as it is quite a hike. Wear good shoes and...More
