We spent the afternoon hiking around Devil's Lake on the paved(!) Tumbled Rocks trail. It was great. This is a must do if you are in the Baraboo area and are a nature lover!

What a beautiful place. I'm from Wisconsin and have seen about every nook and cranny of the state. If you are in the area check out the lake, go for a hike, kayaking, fishing, camping, or just take your kids to the park. Worth the stop. Can't wait to bring my kids here and kayak the lake.

While traveling from central Wisconsin to the Milwaukee area we stopped at Devil's Lake State Park to have a picnic lunch out of our cooler. They had picnic tables available right next to the water with amazing views of this fantastic work of the glaciers that passed through the region ages ago! There are trails, boat/paddle board/paddle boat rentals, restaurant... More

Hidden in South Central Wisconsin are glacier-carved lakes, valleys and beautiful rock formations. Devi's Lake State Park has some of the best away from the Great Lakes, and it's always a surprise to drive through cornfields and stumble upon these ancient clues to the State's Ice Age past. There are many hikes in the Park, and if you want a... More

Don't swim with your head under water because the lake has swimmer's itch, but still great for boating, wading and fishing. Fantastic hiking trails and facilities.

If you don't go to Devils Lake when you are in Wisconsin, you are not getting the full Wisconsin experience. Hiking, laying out on the beach, wildlife, kayaking/canoeing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, picnicking and even scuba diving. Devils Lake has everything for outdoor explorers.

The Main Entrance is shaded nicely with a tree lined road. Check in was quick and personnel friendly but went in the main entrance on the North side and to go where we wanted to, it was on the South Side. We were only wanted to go on the trails to Balance Rock, Devil’s Doorway and The Potholes which are... More

Beautiful day at Devils Lake! We hiked the trails around the lake and had a wonderful day. A 1 day pass has gone up by $1 so it was $11. The park facilities and staff are top notch!

My favorite thing about devil's lake is the hiking trails. You get some pretty awesome views. Take the dog for a hike, rent a kayak or paddle board on site, or grill out with friends.
