Good introduction to the circus

My review is very limited because we were here with 2 small children which meant that we saw a very small part of what circus world had to offer. I thought it was nice how they... read more

My review is very limited because we were here with 2 small children which meant that we saw a very small part of what circus world had to offer. I thought it was nice how they had the shows spaced out so you could go from one to another. They shows kept the attention of our 3 year old and... More

If you have any interest or fascination with the circus this is a must see. We particularly enjoyed the concert on unusual instruments which were used in the circus over the years. The big cat act was interesting and informaive. The big top show had very good acts. Plan to spend the day, you'll enjoy it.

This was an attraction that I visited as a kid with my parents. We took our kids (and my parents) and everyone really enjoyed it. All the buildings have been updated since the 90's. Unfortunately, we went on Baraboo National Bank Customer Appreciation Day (we had no idea) and the shows were VERY crowded, in fact we didn't get to... More

My son and I went to Circus World and enjoyed th 1 ring circus under the bigtop which was the way circuses historically looked. They had shows all day and a large collection of circus wagons dating in the 1800s. We especially enjoyed the tiger show.. it was very interesting and illustrated the form of entertainment that our ancestors enjoyed... More

Great displays of everything circus from costumes to acts to the original wagons that carried the circuses of America from town to town. Live circus acts, tigers, elephants, pony rides. Great place for ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls - children of all ages.

The circus had just begun when we arrived, so we joined everyone under the big top. The performers were enthusiastic and talented. After the show, we wandered around the grounds, where we saw elephants and tigers as well as buildings and train cars that had been used by various traveling shows. Probably the most interesting building was the one housing... More

This is a wonderful, happy place that manages to entertain while it preserves a vital piece of history. This is not one stuffy building--it's acres of park and exhibits that used to be Ringlingville, the winter quarters of the greatest show on earth. The old animal barns have been converted to exhibits with elaborate models of the circus as it... More

We expected more for $19.95 but hey it's 2016. It was wonderful history but knowing the future of our upcoming generation this park don't have it! It's good for small children the small circus is entertaining for them. To see how the circus made it during its time was interesting so glad we went there. I think it's a shame... More

History of any kind is pretty stuffy but this place is tops for displaying and demonstrating the golden age of the American circus. A visit to the wagon collection is an absolute must. Circus World must have the largest number of dazzling tableau wagons in the USA. The hour long performance is presented in a one-ring tent. The two clowns... More

An authentic representation of days gone by. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Circus World. Good old fashioned fun. Especially liked the tiger show and the circus in the big top. All of the seats for the circus are extremely close.
