I'm not a huge circus type person, but the show was impressive! The performers are amazing, and obviously enjoy what they do. It is worth the price to stop and see. Due to the rain, we didn't walk around the grounds much. However, we stayed for all 3 of the shows and each one was worth it.

This is a "must see, must do" if you're anywhere near Baraboo and, frankly, is worth a 3-hour drive from Milwaukee or Chicago just for this purpose. It's an actual circus plus an extensive museum of fascinating circus artifacts, stories, photos and exhibits. A cast of 10 or so skilled and versatile circus artists perform with live elephants, tigers and... More

We went on an overcast/rainy day that we had planned to go to a waterpark. My children (7, 5 and 2) have not been to a circus before. It was magical to see the looks on their faces watching the big top performance! During the summer there are two shows, at 11am and 3pm. If you have travelers that haven't... More

I planned a trip to Baraboo, WI, around several places we HAD to go to. One of which was Circus World. As a child, my parents took my family here many times, we took our young family here several times, and we WANRED TO GO BACK!!! So worth it! The people are in character, friendly, multi-talented and have been entertainers... More

Take a trip back in time and the glory days of the Circus at Circus World. Check out old posters, see circus performers display their craft and check out the amazing display of some 200 circus wagons. There is something for everyone including a carousel and elephant rides. We saw an amazing and brave tiger trainer perform with his 2... More

I had read reviews about the mistreatment of animals. All I can say is that I didn't see any of it and the people that did may have had an agenda. We saw the tiger show and the elephant show. The circus acts were good and the exhibits were interesting. Plan on spending the day there and sit near a... More

My review is very limited because we were here with 2 small children which meant that we saw a very small part of what circus world had to offer. I thought it was nice how they had the shows spaced out so you could go from one to another. They shows kept the attention of our 3 year old and... More

If you have any interest or fascination with the circus this is a must see. We particularly enjoyed the concert on unusual instruments which were used in the circus over the years. The big cat act was interesting and informaive. The big top show had very good acts. Plan to spend the day, you'll enjoy it.

This was an attraction that I visited as a kid with my parents. We took our kids (and my parents) and everyone really enjoyed it. All the buildings have been updated since the 90's. Unfortunately, we went on Baraboo National Bank Customer Appreciation Day (we had no idea) and the shows were VERY crowded, in fact we didn't get to... More
