This is a great option to pickup your jams, honey, pies, candy as gifts or just for you. Buy lots of the chocolate cherries they were tasty. Tons of interesting local food and wine choices.

My friend visited Koepsel’s and brought back a jar of Cherry Jelly for me as a gift. Delicious! I just put in an online order to Koepsel’s for 8 more jars of jellies...I going to try the other flavors🙂 Very tasty!

We stopped here thinking we could pick up food and produce for our stay in Wood County. But, most everything was a canned product (i.e. in jars) or dry goods. They had some nice looking cinnamon rolls. But, the guy who got there right before us bought them all out. We picked out a number of things and checked out. A gentleman in a wheelchair and a young woman checked out our purchases. Neither of them spoke to us at all. Not a hello or a thank you. Nothing. I'm not surprised by impersonal service at a large grocery store, but don't expect it from a small market in a tourist area. As an aside, we bought some mini pretzel balls that were yummy.

For at least 20 years, my family and I have visited Koepsel's at the beginning of every trip to Door County to stock up for our stay with a cherry pie, some jam, a block of 8-year-old cheddar cheese, and some salsa. Then we stop by again on our way home for a couple of cases of all kinds of goodies (gifts for friends and gifts for ourselves to have a little DC during the winter). The market has a wonderful selection of home-made jarred items beyond the dizzying array of jams/jellies, including excellent 3-bean salad, pickled veggies, salad dressings, and all kinds of salsa. They also have a small but exceptional array of cheeses and sausages. (As a vegetarian, I've only had the cheese, for which my family begins salivating before we pack our bags.) I am disgusted with the complaints that the staff are not "friendly." They may not accost you with fake "Welcome in!!" cheeriness, but they are kind, authentic, and hardworking people who provide consistently good products. I've always made a point of having a conversation with them and have great appreciation and respect for them. On our recent visit, they told me they were struggling from the impact of the pandemic. So I urge visitors to make the effort to stop by this truly authentic DC farm stand and pick up some delicious goodies.
