    Great and fun experience!
We visited the Pomona Salt Cave and Spa while staying at the Greenbrier. The halotherapy session was very unique and something we would not have normally done The ambience, however, led to a very relaxing experience. We followed the halotherapy with massages. Camie was absolutely amazing. I told her that I felt as if she was choreographing a dance as the massage was so beautifully done. I have had several massages in my life, but I would literally travel out-of-state to have another massage by Camie!

    Awesome Experience
My wife and I decided to go to the Salt Cave for her birthday and Valentines Day instead of going to TN. It was great and Ashley and Lindsay done a fantastic job for our couple massage. We will be going back and asking for them. The Salt Cave was so relaxing. If you have a chance to go please do so and ask for Ashley and Lindsay.

    Best day EVER!
Have visited the cave before, but this time my sister bought us an all day package at the spa. It was AMAZING! Foot soak with fresh snacks, body scrub was so nice, the reflexology may have been my favorite part and such a relaxing massage and so many other wonderful services. From beginning to end, so relaxing! The cafe was a wonderful addition with delicious smoothies, lunch, snacks, and a dessert. Everyone we met was so welcoming and kind. Amanda was the best ever! This was so needed as we both have kids and have had a rough year or so. Cannot wait to save up and come back again!

    Relaxing and Rejuvenating
Spent the weekend here with my mom, sisters and my daughter. It was incredible! From the relaxing salt caves to the relaxing and rejuvenating spa treatments, we had an incredible time. Liza was very thoughtful to my comfort and expectations. I enjoyed the Hawaiian spa package and would do it again. The salt scrub and mud wrap were my favorites. The snack and smoothie were delicious and perfect amount. Hoping to return again soon.

Fabulous massage and Himalayan salt cave
A wonderful spa experience! We had an 80 minute couples massage with Ashley and Megan that was perfect. The massage therapists are well trained and take the time to focus on your specific needs. We also had halo therapy in the salt cave for 45 minutes which was a relaxing end to our spa day. We were the only ones in the cave during our specific time for halo therapy which made the experience. They do accept up to 14 people at one time - if it would have been fully booked then it may have not been such a relaxing halo therapy experience. Overall, a great spa.

Our first visit for a massage and halotherapy in the original building was a wonderful experience. I believe that the massage was close to 50 minutes, as advertised, and was expertly done. We just visited for a second time last week (June 29 - July 4) and were not quite as pleased. Although the setting is very upscale and relaxing, and the massages were quite good, we took exception to the length of the massages. The advertised time is 50 minutes. However, our actual massage (hands on the body) lasted only 38 minutes. It is possible that they are counting the massage time from your time of arrival until the massage is complete, but that includes filling out the form, undressing, and receiving the massage. I thought I PAID for a massage that actually lasted for 50 minutes. So, if you are happy with a $125 massage that lasts 38 minutes - 12 minutes short of the time advertised, then go for it. Otherwise, pay $15 for the Halotherapy (time in the Salt Dome) and find somewhere else to get a massage. We felt very cheated.

My husband and I spent two nights at the lodgings of The Salt Cave and Spa. I have to begin by stating that the lodgings were both luxurious and rustic, fitting perfectly with the setting and location, and only added to the health benefits of the natural sulfur water available at the lodge. During our stay I had a truly wonderful massage and we both experienced foot soaks. Our daughter had a manicure and we had our meals at their Cafe which was able to produce healthy, nutritious and flavorful meals. If you are looking for a perfect getaway where you can relax, rejuvenate and enjoy, we highly recommend The Salt Cave and Spa. We can't wait to book our next trip!

Visited the Salt Cave with my wife and daughter (23) as the culmination of a day trip visit to the Lewisburg/White Sulphur Springs area. I came along for the drive and candidly thought the idea of sitting in a “salt cave” for 45 minutes was a bit silly. Well, I was wrong. The cave has a salt crystal floor and high salinity air is pumped in to the 70 degree “cave”. The lighting is dimmed, relaxing music is played, and one can stretch out in large gravity recliners (I’m 6’3” about 275 - no problem). The session was 45 minutes and only $15. Maybe it’s all in my head, but I felt very relaxed afterwards for our drive home to Charelston. I’m confident we will return when in the area and I would recommend the experience be tried, even to those skeptics like myself.

Best massage I’ve had. Megan A. was amazing. Highly recommended. Spa was inviting, clean and friendly staff. Salt Cave is unique & only $15 add on for 45 min experience. Massages prices are very reasonable and the attached cafe was quaint and inviting with great healthy options.

I have been going to The Salt Cave and Spa since they opened. I live in PA but come to visit family a few times every year and this is now a new tradition that we head to the Salt Cave for a massage, browse the gift stop, and relax in the salt cave. My mom and I had Chelsea and Amanda as our massage therapists. They both did a great job asking questions on tense spots and in my mom's words for Chelsea, "this was the best massage I have had this year." She conducted a deep tissue massage and knew exactly the places that my mom has been struggling with pain.

For Amanda, I was there for relaxation after the holidays and after a grueling semester for my MBA. Amanda did a great job in opening my senses with citrus oils, practicing breathing techniques, and utilizing her own unique style of Swedish massage which I appreciate. I personally get a massage every two weeks back home and I pay close attention to therapists that just learn it and those that take their learning and incorporate their own styles or continue to weave in various styles from all over the world. Chelsea and Amanda both do that.

As for the salt room, it's pure relaxation. I actually woke up snoring at one point but overall it's a place to heal sinus, aches and pains, or just completely disconnect from the world for an hour.

Love the decor and gift shop as it offers products that are not seen on every corner. The design of this place is great and we are always so happy to see this business flourishing in the middle of nowhere. I can't wait for the new addition to open soon and can't wait to try the new services. Only complaint? My hidden gem is becoming popular but in all seriousness, I love going somewhere that everyone is smiling, relaxed, and all there to focus on themselves for a second. So thank you Salt Cave!

My husband booked an 80min massage for my birthday. The actual massage was wonderful. However, my appt was at 1pm, I was not picked up from the waiting area until 1:07pm, my massage started at 1:15pm and ended at 2:20pm. I thought ok no problem they probably just did a 60min massage and got it mixed up. I asked the receptionist to refund me and only charge for a 60min massage and was told that the massage starts whenever I am picked up from the waiting area. Even if this is the case (which is absolutely ridiculous) the timeframe is still under 80mins and the massage was not cheap. I was very disappointed. It’s not ok to pay that much for a massage and 1. Not be told that your time starts when picked up and 2. What if the therapist picked you up and does not come back for 10mins? I waited 7 minutes for the therapist to come back to the room to begin the massage.

My husband and I were supposed to go back the next day for a more services but ended up canceling because the receptionist not only disregarded my concern for the above but also failed to tell me that I could not have the services we had originally booked for the next day.

Again, the massage was great and the therapist was very kind/easy to talk to. But, this is unacceptable especially at the price we paid.

My friend and I made our 3rd annual trip to the Salt Cave on 9/11/20, celebrating her birthday. The massages we received were wonderful: by Chelsea and Liza! And we enjoyed once again the 45 minute Halo experience. This is so spot on for the COVID environment that the world is struggling through right now. Later we joined a friend who lives in the area for a delicious and healthy lunch at the attached Spa Garden Cafe ! Our chef was so joyful and accommodating! We are still feeling such amazing vibrations and were so pleased this retreat now offers a super cafe with such a great and varied menu!! Thank you to the owner and staff for being open and safely serving healthy treatments during this COVID time. A GREAT escape!!!!

My boyfriend booked a couples session for us both, I felt all of the staff was very friendly and warm with us the entire time. There was no sort of discrimination from anyone encountered. The ambiance was pleasant and relaxing, and I cannot express just how friendly all of the staff were. This includes the staff in the main building, spa building and cafe. The massage was amazing, the salt cave experience was relaxing, and the food at the cafe is delicious. Most importantly, staff all took the proper precautions one would expect with the on-going COVID pandemic.

Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

We just had our first couple's massage - a 50 minute firm Swedish massage at the Salt Cave and Spa this weekend. It was such a great experience. The atmosphere in the salt cave is so unique! The massage therapists (Sierra and Tammie) did amazing at making us feel comfortable and renewed after the massage. What truly transpires throughout the whole experience at the spa is the attention to detail. They make health recommendations and it's just such a serene environment where everyone strives for the customers to leave feeling cared for and refreshed. Great products like vitamins, oils, salt lamps, etc are available for purchase.I also highly recommend the halotherapy and yoga in the salt cave!!

We were staying at the Greenbrier but drove 15 minutes tot eh Salt ave for our first salt cave experience. First, I had a deep tissue massage and my wife had an exfoliation scrub. Both were spectacular. Then we each had 45 minutes ($15 each) in the salt cave which was very relaxing. We f8nished off our excursion with a delicious panini in the cafe at a very reasonable price. The spa is extremely nice and the service is very professional and welcoming. For Half the price of the Greenbrier you can get any spa service you can imagine a a very upscale environment. Spa services, salt cave and cafe are all highly recommended. .
