Very small and disappointing museum. Not worth going. Not much aircraft activity and the manager has no clue about aviation or aviation management. The county doesn’t care about the airport. Could be a great place again, if Ohio county would care about the airport instead of focusing so much on the highlands.…

Being an out of state geocacher, this was on my list to see. Apparently, its a secret! This is a functioning small airport terminal, but what was inside was one of the best airport museums I've ever seen! Even right down to the restrooms ... yes, the "johns" was something right out of the 1940's…

The museum is located in the terminal building of a functioning airport. If you are in the Wheeling area to see aviation history, this display, along with the Louis Bennett statue and Fokker Field/Langin where where Charles Lindbergh visited, makes for a nice weekend of activity.

My husband is a light aircraft pilot so whilst we were in the area we called in here and it is an amazing place. Definately worth a visit. A great insight into what flying used to be like 50+ years ago. THe gentleman working here was welcoming and informative, and my husband had an in depth discussion with him on the subject of flying!…
