One reviewer commented on all the stairs to the 2nd floor arts. There is an elevator. We've purchased face jugs here as well as several books on WV history. This is a good place for both, as well as, for art from WV artists. History is among the arts in the center. We've found it to be a good place... More

We attended a wedding reception at the Artisan Center this past weekend. This venue is so spacious and the staff so accommodating. There is also a gift shop, bar and restaurant but time did not permit me to use these services. What a great place to attend or book a party!

The building used to house a grocer and then an electric company. There is a small museum on the second floor intertwined with a gift shop that has mostly wv made products-many unique and varied offerings. I'm not a shopper normally but I did purchase many special things. First floor has a very upscale restaurant and separate watering hole area.... More

Visited recently with my wife to do some Christmas shopping. It's very similar to the shopping offered at Tamarack in Beckley, WV but with a Wheeling spin. Lots of Wheeling-centric books, crafts, and art, but with other goodies from all over the state. Worth a stop if you're in the area.

The store was well appointed with a wide variety of products, all made by WV artisans. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. If you are going to be in downtown Wheeling, take a few minutes to stop in and browse.

We were very disappointed in the quality and quantity of the products on display. It was more like a local crafts fair with very few things of artisan quality.

Small museum with info on the Wheeling area. Lots of interesting food items, art work and hand crafted toys.

The only complaint I would offer for this center is that it is located on the second/upper level. We did not have trouble walking the steps, but maybe others would. There must be an elevator in that building that we did not see. The collection of local artist's works was complete and well arranged. The light was also adequate. Service... More

lovely old warehouse restoration...beautifully done on the inside...nice attempt at wheeling history, but also difficult to follow...kind of spotty and all over the place...very kind and helpful lady in the gift shop...as with most gift shops, items are over~priced...
