The Trent Jones golf course at Olgelbay is a nice track. The hills create an interesting shot time after time. The greens were just air rated, but were not bad. The tall boundary grass makes it difficult to find balls. The special afternoon rate is...More

While staying at the Oglebay Resort, we golfed three rounds: twice at the Robert Trent Jones course and once at the Arnold Palmer course. Both courses are very challenging, with plenty of slopes that need to be taken into consideration when playing your shots. Both...More

We stopped here to play on our way to Nemacolin Woodlands resort on a Friday in September. The fairways were burnt out with disease and the greens were very slow-overall a disappointment from previous years. We had10 players and were charged $52 for a tract...More

The Jones golf course has had water issues this summer--mainly drought related. They've tried to reseed the fairways and keep those areas watered to promote growth, but they seem to have overwatered and lots of areas are swampy. Very disappointed--was expecting an exceptional course which...More

Played the Palmer Course with a couple of friends. The course was a little wetness but you can't help what the weather does. The course is a little challenging for a higher handicap golfer but it's still playable. The greens were a little hard to...More

The Palmer Course is outstanding. Excellent condition in early fall. Greens were very fast, very difficult. The course is beautiful, and very fun to play. Even with a frost delay, the pace of play of excellent. Looking forward to playing this course again.

Very nice course. Of the three in the Ogelbay Resort I would say this is the second best, although the Trent Jones course is more expensive to play (and Palmer course is most expensive). Course is well maintained, greens and tee-boxes in good shape. Might...More
