Arrived in Thomas to see friends son, The Suitcase Junket perform at the Fiddle. Was not disappointed at any level. Friendly bar/restaurant atmosphere with elevated stage and an outdoor area. Good, solid food products, mostly sandwiches; good variety of local, regional and national brews. Music...More

I've been performing at the Purple Fiddle as a touring musician for several years now. It is a truly unique and wonderful place. While music is a central feature of the Fiddle, it also serves as a local cultural hub and seems to be at...More

They had a travelling band give a concert there. The venue is perfect for this type of thing. We were 8 feet from the stage, beer selection was outstanding and dancing ensued on the small dance floor. Great time!

We have been there a few times and food is definitely not the draw. There's often live music but the food is very average.

I see probably 10 shows or more a year at Purple Fiddle. John Bright manages to bring significant touring bands to Tucker County and is the mainstay of an active music scene that has multiplied in additional venues. The Friday/Saturday evening shows at the Fiddle...More

We walked down the cute artsy street in Thomas. The Purple Fiddle beaconed us. The food was generous and good. The live music at 1pm on a Satuday afternoon was an additional bonus. Definitely would go back again.

My husband and I went to the Purple Fiddle in the middle of a snow storm to see a blues/rock band play while we were in Davis/Thomas for a quick getaway. The venue is a former general store and the owners kept many of the...More

Love the combination platter with pita points, hummus, feta, tapanade, and quinoa salad! Enough for more than one meal.
