What a quirky funky little place for some great music! They serve good food, yummy local ice cream, and wine/beer. Free live music all day, great bands with a cover ($10 or so) later in the evening. Nice people.

Cute and fun place to stop. We had beverages, snacks and enjoyed live music sitting on the outside porch. Great fun!

Was visiting Thomas for the Annual Art Spring Event and attended a concert at the Purple Fiddle. The Hillbilly Gypsies was playing-they were a high-energy bluegrass band with a show full of humor and wonderful talent. Every single member could sing great and their playing was superb. The establishment is a neat place-it was standing room only by the time... More

Recent trip to the Fiddle was an incredible quick getaway. The venue boasts live music, great food ands comfy guest house if you're staying the night or too weary to drive home. The staff are welcoming and quick to make you feel like a regular. A great time to be had.

We happened upon the Purple Fiddle on a road trip a couple of years ago. What a great place! We were there in early October so the leaves were just starting to change so the surrounding countryside was very pretty and scenic. The Purple Fiddle overlooks a river in what appears to be a ghost town. We found it because... More

During our four day stay in Davis, we hit up the Purple Fiddle twice for lunch. Jason Ring entertained the crowd with a variety of instruments and people of all ages enjoyed his music. They have a few sandwich options and some daily specials too. My wife really enjoyed the chili and grilled cheese and I would recommend the turkey,... More

This place is so great. Literally, we live in Malaysia and only get to go here every other summer, but we talk about it all the time. It's the easiest place for live music we have ever found. Such variety of artists, great foods &desserts, decorations, the list goes on. Amazing place. My mother in law also stayed at the... More
