We stayed in the cabins just down from this park. The kids loved the playground, the hiking trails were well marked, and the park was very monitored by Rangers and maintenance staff. Clean, well maintained and a gorgeous place to visit!

Beautiful overlooks with beautiful views. Great place to hike even for beginners. Not a big place with lots to do but well worth a visit.

I stopped over in Summersville after driving from near Rochester, NY (7 hours), so I had limited time and energy to visit this park. What I did see was beautiful! I took a stroll on about half of the Patterson Trail. Quiet, pretty.
