Mirkwood is a small winery in the middle of West Virginia. You can taste a number of fruit, grape and even vegetable wines. They have a small gift shop as well featuring West Virginia items. They are located a short way off of the highway.

Went to Kirkwood Winery and tried wines and their moonshine and bourbon. Had a large selection of wines and you could sample as many as you want. Must try Ginseng wine. Moonshine 90 proof but not as hot as some I've tried. Recommend

We make a point of stopping at Kirkwood Winery on our travels. We love their sweet fruit wines. We also love the drive on the narrow rural road which is especially pretty in the fall. Too bad we won't be here in the fall this...More
