Overall, I would categorize Snowshoe Resort as a 5 star resort, being run by disengaged college students. My husband and I booked this as a weekend getaway trip and had a few disappointments, especially considering how expensive it is to stay at the resort. In general the customer service is not up to par. We had a bunch of little... More

Beautiful place! Had an amazing time learning how to snowboard with a friend of mine. The top of the world is like a little Switzerland village and looks absolutely beautiful. Everything is created for your convenience and the busses run all day to take you to places around the mountain. Slopes are great and the sights are amazing. You are... More

When intrawest first took over, we were worried the service and personality would suffer. They really spent some money on the resort and for the first few years it was great. Now they are just there to push people through with zero service and expensive pricing.

Snowshoe is a terrific option for Mid-Atlantic skiing. The terrain is about as diverse as you can get without driving to VT or flying west. Watch out for holiday weekends (MLK, President's Day) because the mountain will be packed. There are some good dining options but be sure to manage your expectations - this isn't Vail. I've been to Snowshoe... More

Compared to the nearby ski resorts, Snowshoe is unparalleled for its size. Trails converge into many different options, and there are a variety of different ones for each level. You'll hear a lot about the treacherous drive up the mountain, but I was able to make it in an old Toyota Corolla in the snow -- while an SUV/truck would... More

We enjoyed the mountain and its amenities. They groom the trails well and really try to make it great. We didn't have great snow but that is natures fault. It is a pleasant place to ski. Staying in the village is good so you are near everything

My family and I have been in the slopes twice this month. There are slopes for every level, so all the family can enjoy the place. I took skiing class, that was very nice for me to get to sky. Great place to go with all family.

Was supposed to visit tomorrow, but due to military orders I had to cancel. They refused to work with me and said their loyalty was to the owners. They kept the entire amount of the reservation and will rebook the room as well! Thanks for no support.

We had a great time tubing. We're not skiers but we came for one night as past of a longer trip. We arrived at 1245pm. We were staying at Allegany Springs. Check in wasn't until 5pm but we did and early check in and were told 3-5 room should get ready so we ate and went tubing and came back... More
