Start with an 11,000 acre playground serving up the best of the mountains, however you like it. Your days here are like having dessert first. Our Village is situated atop the mountain and gives you access to spa-ing, shopping and even dancing. It all feels better at 4,848 feet.

We love Snowshoe! Best place to snowboard in the southeast. I think every time we have been there for a multiple day visit we get at least one day with snowfall. Headed back next weekend.

We have been to many resorts on both coasts but consider Snowshoe to be our "home" destination for snowboarding. The resort has everything you could want for a fair price and is nice yet laid back simultaneously. Best bargain is the ridiculous pass - buy it in February and it's something like $200 per season for lift tickets!

We are avid winter weekend skiers. For a long local weekend ski trip, our favorite place is Snowshoe. The first thing you'll notice is, unlike most other ski resorts, you are staying ON TOP of the mountain, which gives a lovely bird's eye view of the hilltops and sunsets. Had the time of our lives last season when our long... More

My husband and I stopped by Snowshoe while in the area this fall. the view is absolutely breathtaking. There wasn't really anything to do since we were there for the week they are closed down, but just being able to walk around and see everything without a large crowed was nice. I would like to say we'd go back in... More

This place was the most beautiful place I have ever been and I've been to a few countries. The view is unbelievable,so many slopes to ski on around 60 of them and some going through the woods right in between trees on the black diamond trails! And it has an awesome terrain park and tubing park. If I had to... More

I visited this resort on the last weekend of the "summer season" which was the last weekend of the basic amenities still operating. I traveled with a group. For starters, there were no special instructions on where we were to check-in, and Garmin puts you a mile from the actual place. Two locals had never heard of the place, which... More

We visited for a few days in February and stayed on the top of the mountain in the village. It was a warm weekend that was coming on the heels of a couple of nice cold weeks (bad timing!). For a mid-Atlantic location, Snowshoe does a decent job of making the experience feel more like a large ski resort in... More

Visited on a Motorcycle trip. Beautiful place. They had a great outdoor Hot Tub and pool. The staff was exceptionally nice to us. Having a Starbucks there was a real bonus.
