While it is a neat old building, it is more of a flea market with a hodge podge of items that idk who would want to buy. Passing by the old king sleeve shirts it smelled like BO. Not worth the stop.

Fantastic piece of backwoods, old-time, Irish West Virginia. Fantastic pieces just not found in other retail shops and very difficult to find online. Bought unique Christmas ornaments, jute hot plates with great designs & WVACalendar. Free cider & bluegrass music playing.

When we stopped at the Visitor Center, we were advised not to miss this store. So, after lunch, we drove over there to see what all the fuss is about.
From the outside, it is hard to tell, but when you step inside, you are mesmerized. Shelves and shelves, and more shelves, all filled with the most interesting and unusual items. I don’t go around, stopping in shops and buying things. In fact, we have been on this trip ten days, and I have bought nothing except postcards. Here, I bought five items. These are things you see nowhere else!
The store could be a movie set, it is so authentic. A gentle cat resides there. His name is “Murphy”.

O'Hurley's is walking distance from the Visitor Center. Hang a left - cross the railroad tracks and you are there.
The store is packed with a little bit of everything. There's the jelly and jams you'd expect along with souvenirs and snacks - but search a bit and you'll find unique forged metal brackets and braces, odd screws and nails, banded collar shirts, boot scrapers, knives, functional hats, garden supplies - on and on. I'm assuming the folks we met were the owners. Great people. And despite all that wide ranging inventory - they still know where stuff is at.
Great stop - very much enjoyed it.

You will rarely stumble upon such a unique store with surprises around each corner. They have a wide selection of gifts: Celtic jewelry, old wooden toys, candles, Tiffany-style pieces, Civil War reproduction clothing, kids books, corn-cob pipes, gourd bird houses, leather-bound journals, Mason Jar accessories, etc. Keep walking until you reach the back room, it's stunning and makes for a good photo.

This place has a perfect blend of antiques and necessities. Inside are unique items, such as old rocking chairs and instruments, as well as more commonplace things like scarves, candles, and toys for young children. They bring a certain amount of nostalgia for me, since I've been coming to this store for as long as I can remember, and never forget to stop here.

Staff was friendly. There was a ton of interesting things to see and buy!! It wasn’t too far a walk from town center. Plus staff let me relax in the rocker to catch my breath! Lovely store. I’m sure I’ll stop again. Plus there was a cat named Murphy to pet!
