The tour guide was fantastic and funny. I am slightly clostrophobic so I was extremely nervous before the tour. I felt much better when we went inside. It's not tight like I envisioned. It was cool and mostly spacious. Once the tour started I didn't think of anything else. Word to the wise, keep your hard hat on. While laughing... More

The tour guide was very informative and gave us lots of fun info on the caverns and their history. The huge gift shop there is an... More

Nice attraction. The caverns are worth a stop. Golden and rainbow trout pond inside of caverns. Only issue was the cursing ladies in the kitchen area of the gift shop. minus one star.

My boyfriend and I went to smoke hole caverns for a mini vacation. A nice guy named Brett checked us into our motel room, Brett was very polite and helpful from the time we got there to the time we left! The motel was adorable and VERY clean. We went on the 10 am tour which was perfect. It was... More

We took our grandkids, age 8 and 11. They really enjoyed the cave and especially the stories the tour guide Taya told us. Their were several impressive formations and even an underground lake with trout. The caves were extremely wet so be prepared to be "kissed" by the cave. We ate in the little cafe in the gift shop and... More

We had a great tour with our 6 year old. The caverns were fairly easy to walk through, but I'm assuming due to the recent rain my daughter did slip on the stairs.

The caverns are very nice. Much nicer than the Senaca Caverns which are close by. It has some very interesting formations. We would recommend checking it out.

The gift shop is very nice and the Caverns are beautiful. The tour is interesting. Though many may call it a "tourist trap", I enjoyed it. Besides, while on vacation you're supposed to check out these types of attractions that you cant see anywhere else. I do feel the tour is a bit too expensive and for that reason I'll... More

Since this was close to Seneca Rock, we stopped here on our way home. The gift shop is 2 floors and you can get lost in it, almost as big as an attraction as the caverns. The caverns were a little pricey, but worth seeing. The tour guide could have taken his job a little more seriously, especially for the... More

Off the beaten path for sure. Tour had terrible acoustics and guide did not modify her speech once we complained. Stories are bogus during the cavern narration. Picnic tables are available. Penn's caves in pa so much better!
