Ahh pre-socialist America, when family-owned businesses could prosper. This place is quite refreshing and enjoyable. The theaters are nice, and the tickets and concessions are quite cheap. To top it all off, the girl selling tickets looked at us like a disease. She was totally pulling off the American teenager act - she was aloof, cooler than us. It was a riveting experience. Overall, a very satisfying movie theater experience.

This place is wonderful. Price is fair to see a movie. They have done a great job providing movies to the community for decades. I have never had a bad experience taking friends, family etc..to see a movie. It is small and quaint. It is not your big theater. However, the heart for simple community fun exists here. Go support our local movie theatre. They support us with free children movies in summer and give back to area.

As residents of Berkeley County, we have been going to the Berkeley Plaza to see movies for years. Recently, I took my son for his 12th birthday to see Detective Pikachu. Now that Regals has closed, I thought the Plaza would step up its game with the increased revenue they are surely benefiting from as the only movie theater in Berkeley County. However, that is clearly not the case. It really is gross going in to see a movie and having to wipe crumbs and trash off your seat before you sit down. There is really no reason for the staff to not make a quick sweep of the theater between each movie. I love how affordable this place is, and I always have but that does not mean I should have to choose between affordability and cleanliness.

they should clean between movies, its always nasty in there. I love that its cheap and family owned but I hate going and sitting in filth.

When we arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled start time we were told that they were not going to show the movie. Instead of an apology the very rude guy behind the glass told "Hey. Stuff happens."
