Sad mall

This mall is pretty sad and depressing. The stores come and go like some people change clothes, and the turnover seems to create a downward spiral they can't quite get out of.

Whoever owns this has to be losing everything they've got. There are hardly any stores in this "mall". I don't even know who would consider it a "mall" or "shopping center" because this place is worthless. There is definitely potential as people currently have to drive 20 miles to Winchester or Hagerstown to go shopping. For whatever reason though, stores... More

Aside from the anchoring stores, a large portion of your typical mall-chain stores have exited this mall. It also contains a non-denominational church that fills, walk areas at the Bon Ton end and has clear glass windows where the walls used to be so you are exposed to their service at no choice of your own, and apparently their daycare... The mall recently was bought and rebranded as Foxcroft Towne Center. It peaked my curiously you for a return visit. I was surprised by a number of things. 1. It is really empty. Picture empty stores and very few people. Sales people are resigned to hang out on their phones as there just isn't anyone to help. 2. Sears is... More

The mall is really, really sad. We were spending the night in Martinsburg and stopped at the mall to get a reloadable gift card. There was only a handful of stores and it was past 11:00 AM and a handful of them weren't even open. The food places had people standing around looking so sad as if they questioned why... More

I worked in this mall seven years as a store manager, seen 30+ stores come and go. owners have not done anything to improve this mall. each week the traffic thins more. I was fired from my job because sales were down. how can any o.d think there business is going to be successful in a mall like this.

Every month I am amazed that the mall remains open. There are very few stores left in this particular mall. On most days the place is empty. The anchor stores consist of JcPenney and Bon-Ton. Most people drive to Winchester or Hagerstown to shop.

The sales staff is spread quite thin and the selections are very small. There was no one in sight when i needed assistance. After searching for a sales person, I had to remember where I was when I needed the I help. Once I explained and asked my question, the sales rep. just said "no, this is all we have",... More
