This is a self-guided tour, as they state. There are descriptive signs along the route that provide adequate information. Scenery inside the cavern was interesting and beautiful. More lighting would have been nice, and it appears a lot of the spotlights were not working or not turned on. The pathway is excellent, but not for the very young or those... More

Had a great time caving at Lost World Caverns. Our guide Steve was friendly, helpful with a good sense of humor, which is always a plus. During caving, snacks and water were provided. Afterwards, the team provided us with a full meal of chicken sandwiches, macaroni salad, potato salad, with Doritos, cookies and drinks to supplement. Can't do better than... More

The Lost World Caverns is a great underground adventure taking about 45 minutes as it is a self guided tour so you can go at your own pace.Surprisingly they were not discovered until 1942.The drop is about 120 feet but you will not feel it until you take the steps back up at the end of the visit. The constant... More

This was a last minute side trip, so I had no expectations, and was completely wowed at the number and quality of the cave formations. This is an inexpensive, self-guided tour, so you really have an opportunity to pause and enjoy the natural beauty here. I enjoyed this very much and would have given my review 5 stars if it... More

We were looking for something to do . the motel desk clerk told us of these caverns, so we headed out to see them. The hour drive was well worth it, the place was very well kept, clean well lit, the workers were well informed and polite. The walk down was not bad at all, the tour route was well... More

We enjoyed the caverns. I grew up near here. Never visited before. A little cool. Sweaters are nice and very slippery. Walk carefully. Hold onto the handrails. We really liked this attraction.

This self guided tour was an excellent way to spend an hour or two. Friendly owner, beautiful caverns make this a must if you are in Lewisburg. Bring a sweater because it is cool inside. The tour is approximately 1/2 mile in the caverns and be careful because there are lots of rocks, wet places and stairs to go up... More

While Lost World Caverns can't compare to the caves in the National Park System (Mammoth Cave, Carlsbad Caverns), Lost World Caverns is worth a visit if you are driving nearby I-64 and have a couple of hours to spare. The cave cost $12 for an adult but you can get a 10% discount if you are a veteran or an... More

My partner and I had a blast at the Lost world Cavern's recently. We were fortunate enough to catch them on a quiet day so we had a wild cave experience with just us on the tour. Although they normally require two days notice for wild cave bookings, the owner of the business Steve stepped in and very kindly took... More

Typical cavern with lots of steps, up and down. Love the frequent signs throughout. Went with 3 children under 9, staff gave them flashlights and jackets. Very friendly people. Had a couple of animals to see, picnic area, beautiful scenery. May have a Groupon available.
