This is a great place to stop for info on where to go and what to do. The lady working (Ms. Quinn) was really awesome and helpful. She gave us so much info on things to do and places to see. Get the CD for the driving tour. It's totally worth it. Also take time to walk down the scenic... More

I stopped while traveling through and am glad I did. Great visitor center and also has a walkway you can go down to get a better view. Only took a few minutes to see everything and was a great way to stretch my legs!

Excellent view of the New River Gorge and educational opportunity to learn of the history of the area! The lady ranger was very informational recommending waterfalls to visit that were in the area. I would highly recommend stopping by and taking in the picturesque views.

My wife and I stopped by to visit the bridge and stopped in to have our Passport stamped. While there were talked with the very friendly and knowledgeable rangers and received information on the area as well as how to travel down to the river to view the bridge. We also viewed the displays on local history.

This visitors center is just off Rt. 19 and a very nice place for a quick stop for travelers. Also a must is the boardwalk and steps down to the main overlook. (just pace yourself coming back up). Breathtaking views of this magnificent bridge. Perfect for families with kids who need to stretch their legs and let off some steam... More

Get your Passport stamped here and learn about the history of the New River Gorge, the bridge and the people who live there. Nice view of the bridge from the observation walks as well - you can walk as little or as much as you want. Worth the stop.
