We were traveling through the area and not in a hurry so we decided to stop. Easy to get to. It is pretty with views of Ohio across the Ohio River and Kentucky across the Big Sandy River. We took a few pictures and drove on. Glad we did it but not overly impressive.

Made a quick stop to get a better sense of the geography of the area, hearing we could see both Kentucky and Ohio standing in West Virginia. It was a pleasant stop. Would have benefitted from explanatory signage for our visit. Convenient parking. Kids found the river view interesting.

They have let the area rot, they need to use the softball field and bring more people to the park. The boat dock is nice, but so much wasted potential

Interesting place on the river to watch barges. Not much to do, nice shady places but not a lot of places to sit

Always filthy no place for kids to enjoy because there's so much dog/cat waste . Just not a place you would want to take a picnic to.

This park has a nice fielded area for youth soccer. Nice space to sit and relax and very quiet. Easy access to a boat ramp

There is a bike path, and road to get here that is a bit confusing unless you are GPS'ing it, but the view is great of the working Ohio River -- barges and tug boats. We went at sunset, there were some families, couples biking, and some campers. Looks like the park has had recent renovations, but not a lot to do except walk and enjoy the view.

The Big Sandy River meets the Ohio here. There are several water/electric campsites but inconveniently located in full sun. Only restroom is porta potty. A bandstand is on site but haven't seen it in use and there is a boat ramp. Beautiful view of the River but unfortunately the park is dirty and neglected. Needs new management.

I live across the Ohio river and always wanted to know if this place was a possibility for family outings. My wife and I took a drive thru recently and were a bit dissapointed. The place was unkept and a little ruff. Weeds were grown up everywhere with some trash strewn about. Several cars were parked in the shadows and those in them were not there for the family picnic. Also their were a few shady people walking around starring at us. Definetly not a very nice place.

Stopped by with the girls. The park looks to be under water. The only thing above water is the Band Stand and a few camping spots. There were a few Canadian Geese in the grass foraging. Looks like a great party or celebritory occasion. Well when it's dry anyway. I remember coming here twenty years ago when I came here to walk my Dog. The oldest girl revealed she's been here partying with friends at various graduation partys.
