Perfect for families

Walking paths, creek passing through, 2 playgrounds. Our 6 year old grandson loved it, especially the swings for two people. I haven’t been on a swing that much in years.

Beautiful Park
Oct 2020 • Family
I recently traveled to Huntington to run a virtual half marathon. I discovered this beautiful park and spent over two hours running on the trails. They had bathrooms and a playground for the kids to play on as they waited for their mom. I would come to this park again.

Beautiful
Jul 2020 • Solo
Was staying in the area for a few days and was told to walk in Ritter Park. My husband and I enjoyed it tremendously. They had beautiful gardens with a lot of different roses. A playground for the kids. Loads of benches to sit on and rest , walking paths & or bike paths.

Great way to spend a few hours while in the neighborhood.
Looking forward to my next visit.

Always love to stop by Ritter Park when I get the chance to be in Huntington, The perfect park to relax, or to get a great walk in. Family friendly with a play area for the kids.

A beautiful park with large mature trees!
Plenty of room for kids to play or dogs to run.
A nice updated playground for children with a zip line.
Ritter park is surrounded by a large walking path for exercise or slow walks with friends
The iconic center fountain is center stage and the place to be for High School Homecoming Pictures!
We are truly blessed to have a Park like this!

Best park in town!
Jul 2019 • Family
This is our park! Since it’s steps away from our home. It stays clean usually, and new playground. My kids love going here to ride their bikes or just play catch on the grass. This place is big! Great place to go get some steps or run a few miles in. Well kept and managed.

Nice park with walking path.

Visiting here from out of town. Stopped by to see what was going on and they were having a canine carnival. It was really cute. Lots of dogs in attendance. They had a lot of booths with doggie treats and free giveaways.

There were others just hanging out and others walking the path. Great place.

Very nice park with a walking path and a large rose garden
Jul 2019 • Solo
This was a very nice park for a mid-day walk. Several different walking paths to choose from. Inside the park is a nice, well-maintained rose garden that documents the various roses found in the park with facts and information on the roses. For those who like to spot native species, there were some blue-tailed, 5-lined skinks hiding in the crevices of the walls at the rose garden. The park itself was lined with a variety of tress and plant life, some of which appeared to have been around for many, many years. If you have time and enjoy nature, be sure to stop by and check out this park.

Love green spaces!

Wonderful walking park with little bridges into neighborhoods. Many people out walking and there is a dog park too. The DAR has restored a log cabin to use for meetings and it is interesting as well. Lots of shade here and lovely homes lining their streets!
