    We loved the Farm
I was impressed with how knowledgable the docents were. The museum exhibits focus on a typical farmer's life in the late 19th century. Usually you will find crafts people giving demonstrations. We saw a man turning a lathe making pens, a woman spinning wool, and a blacksmith. We enjoyed the store, Transportation Building and the doll exhibit. Before you decide the doll exhibit might be creepy, the docent knew a lot about the history of the dolls, was able to point out special outfits and inform us about some of the antique baby carriages they where they were displayed. There is a place where you can get some food. We took the wagon ride to see the animals. It was a bit of a bone-jarring experience. I can imagine kids will love it.

Great visit for Barnyard Basics hands on tour.
My 2 y/o son and I had such a great first experience at Heritage during the Barnyard Basics tour with Cassidy. RL met us and picked us up in the golf cart which my son totally loved. We met all of the girls cleaning stalls and caring for animals. Each of them came to us and introduced themselves which was so nice. Although it is hard to keep a toddlers attention span for long, Cassidy was great at redirecting. We literally got to feed, water and scoop poop, exactly what I had hoped for. It really makes you have a greater appreciation for farms and he got to experience it. Cassidy, the girls, and RL were great and very sweet. They were all informative. My son got to pet the animals as well and Izzy, such a sweet barn dog. Again, this was our first experience to HFM&V. We bought annual passes because I know we will be visiting a lot. Next visit to see the village when it’s open to all.

Infinite fun and learning for all ages
I stopped here on a whim doing a cross country RoadTrip and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of things to do here. The staff in each exhibit was extremely knowledgeable about their topic and made the history much more tangible. I would definitely recommend this as a stop for the morning.

    A MUST SEE
I cannot say enough great things about this place! You must check it out! Not only is it a blast to the past, but Heritage is also chalked full of adventure. Great for all ages! Paul and his adventure team are the best - they are fun, professional and really know how to show everyone the greatest time! My son and I went zip lining and it was our first time. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable, very knowledgeable and the entire zip line adventure was so awesome! We will be back for sure!

    Great visit
We had an amazing time. Much more to see than expected. Lots and lots of things to look at and do!! The doll and carriage house was really nice. A great display of talent. The Progress exhibit was great. All exhibits were great but I thought the progress display was neat to see. The various time periods and the progression was very interesting. The wagon ride was fun.

    Murder Mystery Dinner
Went to a Murder Mystery Dinner at night under the Pavilion outside. It was a peaceful setting. The food was delicious and hot! Desserts were good and cold. The actors were funny and engaging. The heritage Farm staff were kind and helpful!

Fun AND educational place to hang for an afternoon!
This place is an amazing way to spend an afternoon! I came here with my girlfriend and despite being a little more geared towards kids, we had a blast. Between the petting zoo, the museums, and the awesome staff, we had a great time. Entry tickets are not expensive and they're good for an entire day, which is usually open for 5 hours a day. Along with some of the activities, you can purchase tickets for a zip liner, mountain biking, and taking a 4 wheeler through the mountains. Everyone in the family can find something to do here!

This place is great!! I highly recommend to stop by and visit ! Not only is it beautiful to look at, the education I received was great, too. The people who work there (or volunteer) are so kind. I can't wait to take my 6 year old back.

Heritage Farms is a Blessing to all that visit. First class all the way!
Took the family to the Christmas Village display and again WOW! Great lighting and Christmas events in an awesome atmosphere. We are Blessed to have such a wholesome place to take our families all year long. The vision that the Perry family had many years ago has blossomed into a Premier, most see venue. The many adventurer activities added over the past couple of years is a must see! Thank you again Heritage Farm! First class all the way

This was a fun day that took you back in time. All of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. The museums were Smithsonian-quality. It took a couple of hours see everything and the price was only 12 bucks each.

This is a wonderful place to spend a few hours or a whole day. There are things for the kids, young adults, and the older ones. Don't miss your opportunity to experience a zip line through the trees, a ropes course up the trail (don't worry, they'll take you up in a fully enclosed UTV) or even pet a pig. The museums have something of interest for everyone and the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. If you can attend during a crafts weekend, you will be amazed by the artisans and their work. Reservations are needed for some of the activities, check them out on the web and don't miss out on a great way to spend a day.

I am a family pass holder and have been for 5+ years. I have been taking my family numerous times each year, and now with added attractions we have been 6 times this past year with the highlight being the Christmas Village. Every time I go into the museums I notice something new and exciting. The staff/volunteers are the best!

Heritage Farm is a local wonder for Huntington. It's a versatile experience that is suitable for ALL ages. The full experience wouldn't be complete without some of their bike trails, and ziplining, but the entire place is so immersive and wonderful.
Every building takes you through the world from a new perspective! You could spend days wandering around, learning everything there is to learn in the museums. There is so much worth learning within this community about the history of West Virginia.

During our self-guided tour, we had the pleasure of experiencing some fantastic musical talent in the church, informative conversation with guides, and up-close and personal experiences with live animals.

With a playground and entire building dedicated to young minds, it's a great place to bring your kids or plan a field trip!

As for food within the farm, they have a versatile list of options. You truly can't go wrong with any of it!

For me, the parking situation is always a concern. Parking at Heritage Farm is so easy! There's plenty of space, even on a busy summer day.

Took the 2 grandchildren today to visit the Farm. Mask on and WOW what a great time enjoyed by all. The beautiful huge stair steps into the the trees was amazing and enjoyed by our Grandchildren. Once we climbed up the flights of steps there are walk ways of netting and netting with walking planks. Great addition to this wonderful place. The employees are friendly and eager to answer any questions you may have. New this year was the Nature room filled with aquatic creatures and even an aquarium. The farm has plenty of clean restrooms and have Purell sanitizer dispensers thru out the farm. The farm is truly a Blessing for all of us to enjoy! A BIG Thank you to the Perry family for there dedication to this wonderful place

We had an amazing time here!! I knew this was going to be right up my alley but doubted my kids (15, 15, 11 & 10) would enjoy it. They ended up having a great time and we all learned a lot! The staff were so friendly and informative. I hope to return again someday. I definitely recommend visiting to anyone who is interested in American history!

I have been a family pass holder for several years and I try to visit several times each year. There is no way to see everything in the museum and I always make a new discovery! I also love the craftsman like the blacksmith and the wonderful lady at the spinning wheel. This trip I went zip lining with my 63yr old sister (I am 66 ) and her 2 teenage grandkids! Awesome!
