Falls at Hills Creek

Beautiful place! Definitely worth the walk to see the falls. The trail is easy to walk on and the photo ops are numerous. Loved seeing this scenic jewel of West Virginia.

This is a series of three waterfalls, the first being handicapped accessible, I believe this waterfall drops about 20 feet or more and is beautiful in itself. To view the next two falls, you must be in reasonably good physical condition as there are many steps to descend. The second falls is much wider and drops about 40-45 feet. From... More

The correct GPS coordinates are N 38*10.678' and W 080*20.311'. We walked to all three falls and took the shortcut on the way back. It is great that these events in West Virginia are free.

This is a moderate hiking facility. A lot of stairs to climb so you will need to be in fairly good shape. I would not recommend for wheelchairs. Children will need to be watched closely but they will love the views.

A place you must visit. A place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and just relax and enjoy nature. The falls are beautiful in wet weather. To see all three falls requires physical endurance, especially the last fall, but it is worth the effort.

Awesome set of 3 falls ... First one was not too bad too see the second one wasn't real bad to get to but the third and best fall is a beast !!! You will climb down about 5 or 6 down to the lower falls !! Around 400 steps down and back up !! A great hike and worth... More

I've visited a good number of waterfalls across the country and this is definitely one of my favorites. After a gentle short level hike you begin the trek down to different levels of the falls (staircase at each major bend). Each view is different, especially as the lighting changes with each bend. Well worth it - just take your time,... More

I was hoping to see waterfalls on my trip to WV, and rest assured this scratched that itch. I was enjoying the views on the Highland Scenic Highway (which had a few pretty roadside waterfalls itself) when I made it to this location. You've got a sizable parking lot (with restrooms) before embarking on a 1.5 mile round-trip journey through... More

I love waterfalls so I absolutely had to check this one off my bucket list visiting the beautiful state of West Virginia. I appreciated for my mom who uses a walker the beautiful scenery and paved way for her to easily access the upper falls. The hubby and my children did the walk from the upper falls to the middle... We love it! Lots of steps, steep grade in a few places. If anyone has knee or walking issues, would not suggest this adventure.. The falls was bursting with waters where it has rained the night before, just beautiful and romantic.. It's definitely a must!!
