My wife and I rented a 2 seater from Mountaintop Adventures, excellent machine with lots of power. There are an incredible number of Hatfield and McCoy Trails and one day wasn't enough time. Next time we will plan a longer visit. Some beautiful wildlife could be seen along the trails. The staff at Mountaintop Adventures are very friendly and accommodating. We have rented UTVs several times in Moab Utah and had a great time. Hatfield McCoy Trails are awesome. Several different difficulty levels and all the trails are marked with a number and difficulty level. If you are looking for a challenging, exciting, and memorable experience, give Mountaintop Adventures a try.

We rented 2 side x sides from here and had a great time, the people could not have been any nicer and everything was as described. Wish we could have stayed and rode more days. Would definitely come back, hopefully next year!

Mountaintop Adventures saved my butt last week. Broke two ball joints and ruined the CV axle. I limped it off the mountain and went riding in a different trail system with a different ATV. Then my son also broke a ball joint and pulled a CV axle apart. Limped that back to the trailer and headed for Mountaintop. We rented one of their Side-by-Sides the next day, while they worked their Home-Grown Hospitality and Magic. By the time we made it back, both ATV’s were fixed. The guys even found a bad wheel bearing in one and replaced for me. Our vacation was saved and no days of riding were missed.
Big shout out and thanks to the guys in the shop and the gals in the rental office. Everyone went above and beyond to keep us enjoying the beauty that West Virginia offers.

This little get away ranks right up there with the best. We had a great time. Great trails, friendliest staff, cleanest facilities around and all around a good time. We booked two guided tours, The Sunset Tour and the 10 hour tour on Saturday. Our guide, Brad, was not only very knowledgeable of the area and the history of it, he was also very funny and made the tour a time to remember. We would recommend Mountaintop Adventures to anyone that seeks thrills and adventures.

We showed up to our place off of airbnb to find we were scammed. Thanksgiving day with no place to go. we contacted Cameron at mountain top adventures and within 10 mins he had us a house set up that was not only nicer but also more affordable than the fake airbnb we had booked. we had already booked a side by side from them so he had us set up with the machine and a house faster than getting a happy meal at the drive through. The next day the clutch blew apart on my brothers X-3 can am once again we called Mountaintop Adventures and they knew exactly what we needed to get us back on the trail. Thanks again to Cameron and the whole crew for turning a possible disaster into a great vacation. I wouldnt hesitate to contact them again.

Stole my deposit… I called weeks in advance to edit my reservation which was a mandatory $900 deposit at the time. Due to miscommunication of staff the change was never made. I called back a second time and felt semi-confident the reservation had been properly edited. After I return the rental I realize I was not being refunded for the days I did not use when I asked about this they said I had never called. As a business owner myself the way I was treated was unacceptable. I lost $700 and they refused to return a phone call I have tried multiple times since my visit. If someone in management is reading this feel free to reach out and make this right and I will remove this review.

Mr. Cullen canceled 3 days of a 5 day rental the day before his rental pickup and with our cancelation policy he lost the deposit on the 3 days canceled. This was explained to him during the cancelation on Sept 24th and at that time he was completely ok with it. We delivered his machine on the 25th and it was used for the 2 day duration with no complaints as well. However, several days after his rental period Mr. Cullen called our office to then complain about losing the deposit due to the cancelation and again was explained our policies and how he only lost the deposit placed on the machine for the 3 days canceled. At this point Mr. Cullen has called our office multiple times and has been explained our cancelation policy and why he lost his deposit during every call. With our business to show fairness to everyone we follow our policies. Sorry for any inconveniences and we do hope to accommodate you in the future.

Mountaintop Adventures is the absolute best in the business when it comes to side by side rentals. They were able to accommodate rentals for my group of 18 that went down to WV for my bachelor party. We had a flat on the trails with one of the side by sides and they were there within 30 minutes, changed the tire and we were back up and running. I received a lot of feedback from my group and they absolutely loved this trip I arranged. I highly recommend MTA for your weekend thrill needs! 10/10.

What a great group of people that provided a fun experience with quality UTV's. Alex, Nathan, and Cameron were awesome to work with. The UTV's were delivered to us in a timely fashion, if we had questions, they answered them, and they were very helpful. The UTV's were great quality and we had a blast on Buffalo Mountain/Devil Anse trail systems. We will rent from them again!

As a family we travelled 7 hours to the Hatfield and McCoy trails in Gilbert, WV. We had our own SxS’s, but had a mishap on the first day. Mountaintop Adventures was able to accommodate us with a rental at the last minute and on an extremely busy holiday weekend. They were very friendly and understanding. The SxS was reliable and we were able to enjoy the trails once again.

My husband and 3 other family members along with myself took the sunset tour with Mountaintop Adventures. Cameron was our guide and did an excellent job to answer any question as well as provide interesting facts about local history. We all enjoyed the adventure and will return at a later time to do it again.
