I went with family and we booked our Sunset Ride trip through Ace Adventure. While the trails were muddy and we were wet due to a quick thunderstorm while we were all preparing to set out on the ride, it was a nice experience. It would be helpful in the future if the guides were more prepared to handle difficulties... More

The guides and horses worked well with small kids. Be sure to tip the guides in cash NOT via the credit card payments. Biblical verse verse aside, it is doubtful the credit card tips make their way to the intended recipients.

As part of renting a cabin at Ace Adventure Park, we had to do a guided tour. We chose the Sunset Horseback Riding tour, since there were few options available for children under 8 years old. We found the location easily enough with the directions provided by Ace. There is a huge rut between the road and parking lot that... More

We took the overnight trail ride option and while it had its moments of fun and enjoyment, overall, it was a lack luster experience that I would not recommend. Our guide got lost not once, not twice but three times the first day. That meant our 3-1/2 hour trail ride turned into nearly 4 hours plus by the time we... More

I'm going to start this review with 5 stars .. We were running late getting to WV due to my husband being called into work and in case all night, so he slept in. These folks were nice to work with us, as we ran late, and were there waiting when we arrived. The location was not far from Ace... More

Our morning at Equestrian Adventures with two adults and two teens did not create a idyllic memory for our vacation scrapbook, but did give 3/4 of us a desire to want to return for another ride someday. We chose the 2-1/2 hour Trail Ride, and due to a couple of snafus, the largest of which was seemingly endless mud on... More

It was our guide Carly's first time and she did amazingly! It was a beautiful spring evening and our other guide biff was very knowledgable. It was just my wife and I who are normally exclusively rock climbers and we are extremely glad we changed it up.

My wife and I booked a 2.5 hr trail ride. Very pleasant ride. The horses are very well cared for and well trail broken! They do require some leading so watch out for you knees through tight areas. Biff was our guide. Great guy, familiar with all the horses, and "staggers" horses according to leadership roles for safety. Very relaxing... More
