Why they call this a Resort I will never know. First off, this place is nothing like any resort I have been to. Second the smell in this place will make you gag. Third, don't even waste your money to get a balcony because it is so infested with huge spiders you can't even get out the door to enjoy... More

Timberline Resort has been awelcome addition to Canaan Valley for many years. We enjoy the ski in/ skiout condos during the great seasons. During the fall, the deck is agreat place toenjoy asoft drink, and to feast on fall splendor. We find the ski trails to beexcellent for hiking.

The menu has clearly had a professional development and Timbers Pub and Fireside Grill is soon to be open six days a week all year. Hot mugs of British tea, elegant third wave charcuterie plates and a sophisticated selection of cheeses are part of the fun when paired with elegantly curated wines and craft beers. The steaks are finished with... More

Good entertainment in the restaurant/bar and children are welcome with their parents. Nice relaxed atmosphere - great place to spend an evening in the summer or fall. Skiing is great during the winter into spring. Very family-oriented.

We stayed at the Snowed Inn for a relative's wedding. The vacation rental that we were in fit 10, but had no air conditioning. The accomodations were nice - full kitchen, multiple sets of sheets and blankets, appliances, washer / dryer. Scenery is beautiful

This is the most amazing place and well kept secret on the East Coast timberline Four Season Resort if you want to Ski, Snowbaord or hike or just enjoy nature then this is the place to come. The scenery is fabulous and at the weekends it is the perfect place for families to get away from surrounding cites in PA,... More

Guess I shouldn't have high expectations after growing up skiing in CO and living around Tahoe for 20 years. I guess they have done what they can with what they're given??? No decent lodge for when you give up on the skiing, and the indoor seating areas say no brown bagging... Not great for people with a bunch of kids... More
