I advise anyone planning to visit to see the grist mill soon to call beforehand and make sure it's operating. The part itself is still beautiful, but we visited on July 4th and the mill was under construction. It's still worth a stop if you...More

This park is so beautiful. It is very close to Beckley, West Virginia. The Grist Mill with the stream next to it makes a great photo opportunity.

Fun drive to get to the park. Mill setting is beautiful. Drive around the park and stop at the overlooks. Beautiful views of the valley.

The park is beautiful. The views are fantastic and many trails to check out. We enjoyed our stay in one of the cabins. We were impressed with the cleanliness and that we had a fireplace and a little kitchen. We will return.

This park has so much to offer and I love that it has never been crowded on the days that I have visited. (2015 & 2017). After hiking and attending a wedding in nearby Hawks Nest State Park, we ended our day at Babcock. Last...More

This park has infrastructure data from the CCC days, but also has seen repeated improvements since. The result is a wonderful mix of old and new, in a wonderful woodland setting. The park is not used as much as it deserves -- you have a...More

Absolutely beautiful which is why it is THE most photographed mill around! Worth the trip to see but if you're going in the fall, be prepared to fight the photographer's for a good shot. They get there early and they are everywhere! Makes it kinda...More

There's no damage to the mill or park. The closest town where there was damage is Rainelle about 20 minutes away. All roads are passable.
