While at a conference three of us went off and played Coonskin Park Golf Course. A nice executive type course of 18-holes. Very walkable and was fun to play. There are hills, water, etc. to make it interesting. The price was right.

I've been coaching middle school golf for 7 years now and there is not a better beginner, short course out there for these young golfers to start their games. It's challenging yet fair. Even for the veterans of golf it offers challenging distances and greens.
Coonskin park has a little something for everyone. There is a golf course, fishing pond, small skate park, playground, trails and tennis courts. It has a driving range to practice your swings.

Everything about coonskin needs an upgrade. Pool, golf, park, walkways. The county really needs to come and take a look at this place and give them some funds to get some of their equipment out of the 90's.
