I've attended two weddings here. The light reflected on the water during the ceremony and really added a special romance to the atmosphere. It's in the middle of downtown Charleston. One of my favorite places to pray.

Every weekend, weather permitting, there is a Free Live concert at The Amphitheater at Haddad Riverfront Park. We were fortunate enough to have arrived on the final night of the concert series which featured 2 bands, food trucks and a tremendous community atmosphere capped by a Fireworks display, what an evening. Just a short walk along the river from our... More

Went on a Friday evening in the Summer which has plenty of food offerings and a concert on the evening I attended. The walkway trail goes all the way to the Capitol or a good distance. I came back via the road walking path. It has plenty of room for walkers and bike riders.

This is a great place to jog or take a stroll. We enjoyed the concert that took place Friday night and was very conveniently located by the Sheraton Four points hotel.

This place is great! It has an amazing view of the river and it is free. There are several little playgrounds throughout along with volleyball nets and a splash park for the little ones that just opened. There is also a lot of grass available for picnic, tanning, ride your bike, or ride your jet ski! Take out the boat!... More

Haddad has given our city the opportunity to host countless FREE live music events. During the summer there is a free concert here every Friday! You can't go wrong. The facility itself is clean and beautiful and close to many other attractions and restaurants.

Live on the levee is an annual concert series that takes place on the weekends through the summer at Haddad park. It's a comfortable place to watch a concert, but my favorites are the shows after dark. There is cloud cover for rain and whatnot, when the crowd is full on a hot day, it can feels a little sticky... We just happened to be in town when there was a FestiVall preview concert. It was just a short walk from our Hampton Hotel on Virginia Street. The weather was great, the food vendors were wonderful, and we had a good time.

I would not suggest wasting your time to visit this location unless there is a special venue to attend. I was completely unimpressed. Charleston has so much to offer, but unfortunately, this is not a location I would recommend unless you have a specific purpose to be there.
