the staff at this "place" was rude, sloppy and poor employees. we shall never return to this location. for a government building the floor was dirty and dirty dish's left on tables shame shame

The building is beautiful the grounds are beautiful.There was a festival happening so I would say it was family friendly.The building itself is an amazing work of architecture.

Was here to visit the museum but we walked the grounds and enjoyed all of the wonderful sculptures which included a VERY nice Veterans Memorial.

There is a museum in the capitol complex across the way from the capitol building itself that has activities for children. Just ask at the front desk when you go in.
