We drove here to see this historic building. The grounds were pretty, and I am sure when the golden dome us refinished, it will be pretty again, but right now it is under tarps and can't be enjoyed.

The capital is in a nice complex that has other buildings, including the governor's mansion. It is very nice looking.

The West Virginia capitol grounds are beautiful. Parking was great and close in. The capitol itself semed to be under renovation. The dome was covere in plastic. Still a very good experience.

Each capitol that we vist we learn more and more educational things about our states. This capitol building was no exception. Our tour guide was knowledgeable about the history of the state and the bulding. The building was easy to get around. They had good artwork.
