Camp creek’s campground was so cute and fun! The creek itself is really clear and has some great spots for exploring and swimming. Our campsite was nice and there were nice playgrounds and picnic areas. Truly “almost heaven.”

Thank you so much for the compliment, we are glad you enjoyed your stay at Camp Creek State Park. Look forward to seeing you again.
We are traveling along I-77 in West Virginia and ended a place for the night. An internet search brought up Camp Creek State Park. We don’t mind state parks, however they can be a challenge for our 39’ Newmar Canyon Star the reviews and pics...More
Very quiet, great hiking, birding and wildflowers. Whole campground is clean, large sites and beautiful waterfalls. Park personnel are like family. Very helpful when needed but not intrusive. Fellow campers are also very friendly.More

Thank you for your comments about Camp Creek State Park. We hope you will take the time to visit us again.
This park offers 6000 acres of forests with 35 hiking trails, waterfalls, camping, play grounds, trout streams, biking, and horseback riding (it's nice to be able to camp and have a small corral for your horse).
We stopped at the office/gift shop to find out...More
This park is more about the camp grounds, play grounds, and picnic areas more than anything. Three camp grounds. One seams to be for horses. Two small waterfalls. I was hoping to get fall pictures and did get some. There isn't much to see or...More
I stayed here one night on a road trip. This campground is super quiet, which is amazing, considering its 10 minutes from I-77. Lots of wildlife, good facilities. The Blue Jay campground is right along the road, but very woodsy and you can get a...More

We went for a day visit on our way to Kentucky on 8.4.17. I was pleasantly surprised with this park. There are several trails for hiking, with varying lengths and difficulty levels. There are two small waterfalls that are reletively easy to access. The park...More
