We had our July wedding ceremony at the Berkeley Springs Castle and we could not have asked for more! Pam, the castle caretaker, was very responsive and attentive to all our needs. Not only did she accommodate everything we asked for, including a WiFi extender...More

We were able to pull off and view the outside of the castle, but it is privately owned, so not able to see much. Be very careful exiting the driveway - not easy to see oncoming traffic!

Although publicized as an attraction, this castle has been closed to the public for at least the last 10 years. Public touring does not exist. There are events held at times but is not open to the public.

This is a 5 minute tourist stop but watch out for cars when you pull over. Get a quick pix of the castle and the lion in front. The gargoyles are cool too. But that's all there is too see.

You can just drive by and look! If you drive past this castle a few miles you will come to a scenic overlook in which you can see three states.

Castle is privately owned now. Not open to public. Unless something has changed since 2016. You can just drive by to look at the outside.
