The lovely lady here was so helpful and was able to answer all of my questions and gave great advice on activities in the area. She also gave us some great maps. I’d highly recommend calling in here before you start sightseeing in Yakima.

A stop at This visitor center is definatly a must before you begin your winery tour! They provide you with maps, information on the Winery’s, sell wine, and you can get a “Passport card” for discounts on tasting and wine!
Have been there to purchase local products, to give as presents - they have a good selection. I do think their hours should include the weekends more - so call ahead if you are thinking on going during non-banker's hours.
